It looks like a rocket when it squirts out this compressed air to correct its trajectory. I don't know if the ISS does this, we wouldn't be able to see it with the naked eye if it did either because of its height. It's more likely that it's a SpaceX rocket.

reminds me of seeing rocket fuselage separation we watched as kids after a launch. This is in NM. Isn't there a space launch site. Space port America, is in New Mexico. There has been a lot more private space launches of satellites and trips to the ISS, than before when it was only done by NASA and the USAF.

I saw something similar I think back in August by Prescott airport in AZ. It did a different light pattern in the front of it, But I think it was the same type of object. The other couple that saw it in the area moved away about two weeks after, So I never had anyone to discuss it with further. At first I thought it was lasers, But then I thought it could by supporting a volumetric display on it, But even that doesn't explain the science of how they're controling the illumination in such an organic way. I'm stumped for now.

I see these every night, one two sometimes 3 at a time, blue, green orange or white, they are exact size of the stars around them. I also noticed that if you dont directly look at the stars they appear far brighter in your peripheral vision, try it out, some stars appear when in peripheral and when you glance to where you saw it it disappears or fades to barely seeing it.
