Very interesting presentation and it is true Garner is growing fast. However, the population increase pales in comparison to the budget explosion represented in this proposal. Please let me know if my math is wrong, but the growth rate was 8.4% but this new budget is itself 22% higher than the prior years, which was a 14% increase over the 2023 budget. We currently have the second-highest tax rate in Wake County, and I would assume this will give us the gold medal. I respectfully disagree this reflects the values of the community which I love.

How the hell did the construction on hwy 50/Benson rd just south of Swift Creek up on the hill. Runoff into Swift Creek is concerning. Traffic added to a downhill section of 50. Blind hill entrance/exit. An absolutely ridiculous area for buildings.
