If you think about it in season 1 during the doom dimension arc Drago (as Delta Dragonoid) said that Apollonir was the most powerful Dragonoid Bakugan and now Drago evolution line starting from Helix Dragonoid starts to look similar to Apollonir, so this might be a connection there.

Helix Dragonoid automatically should've have access to the 6 attributes for the sake of arguement lets say Drago cant use the perfect core outside of Vestroia, ok that's a given due to what almost happened when Spectra abused the perfect cores power so why not the 6 Attribute energies which Drago absorbed into his body to evolve adapted to his new body allowing him to use the 6 attributes without risk of harming the perfect core especially outside of New Vestroia wouldve been helpful against Bakugan like Dharak/Razenoid and say in battles for fun Dan and Drago mainly use Pyrus abilities
