Fun Fact about Horror: He didn't actually get the hole in his head from Undyne throwing a spear through it, it actually happened as a result of taking his eye out with a tool. The reason why everyone thought it was a spear was due to the fact we didn't know exactly what happened for him to get it only that Undyne did it.

LETS GOOOOOOOOO! An Asgore-centric reaction! Legit my favorite character in the game. Not much to say about most peoples reactions, Sans understanding that there wasn't a realistic way to be the 'correct' decision, Alphys understanding that the pressure would crush her, and even Chara being upset that there was no mention of her in the video. Honestly love how you portray Asgore and Toriel here. Toriel is very adamant that she believes that Asgore made the wrong choice, and that sentence is reinforced throughout the whole video. Asgore, on the other hand, also agrees with Toriel, and is mentally destroyed by his actions, though he doesn't show that to anyone. The most accurate part is that, the only thing Toriel says besides Asgore making the wrong choice, is that she thinks she's pathetic for not being able to save any of them. I wont go on a Toriel rant, and instead I'll end this comment by simply saying that I think this video was great, and my only hope is that more people make Asgore videos, so that I can actually have fan content on my favorite character.

Toriel…. I’m not sure Toriel understands. If someone declares war, it isn’t as simple as just… stopping. If you start it, it must end at some point, whether it be a treaty or by one side being obliterated. If a war is started by one side, it cannot stop. She ran because she couldn’t accept that, but the step had already broken. You cannot fix that step, you cannot repair it. You can try, but it’ll be broken in one way or another.

I think that step can be fixed, but the issue is that there was no mediating force, and once Asgore committed, he felt as though he had no choice to continue. If Toriel had been there, she could've helped find an alternative solution, but by leaving Asgore, he is left in a situation where he must take full responsibility for his people and continue forward with his rash actions.

This is where I feel a lot of people misunderstand her character. From my understanding the reason she's upset is that Asgore only had to kill 1 fallen child, then could pass through the barrier and gather the remaining souls from people who, for one, aren't children, and it would also prevent their people from living underground for so long.

@ Yeah but Asgore knew not to do that cause that would start an entire new war. Could you imagine? The humans seeing a literal monster ACTUALLY kill a human, instead of what happened W/ Asriel?
