Hello, first, did you read the whole article on the hackaday :)? If yes, there is written, that device has a calibration mode, where you can correct temperature if needed. For technical questions, please contact me directly there ;).

As I've already said, I don't think so. Because I don't have a C210 tip for testing, so I can't verify it.

@@99Andy99 Sorry for my English. I completely trust your station's display. I want to see the display readings when soldering heat-holding elements. I'm interested to see how the station reacts to temperature changes. And how do С245 cartridges work at your station. Show just a video of soldering. And tell me, please, the size of the printed circuit board?

​@@99Andy99 watched the video, thanks for your time. Works great! Only the power scale is not filled. Don't you think that the power consumption should be higher than what is shown on the display?

@@maxlabt Yes, the power bar should be filled little bit more, probably. But the reason is, that power is only simulated from temperature. I'm not measuring current or voltage drop-down. I was little but hesitating to display also the power bar even if it's not fully valuable. At the end, I've put it there :).

I didn't say, that this project is/will be open-source, because it's not finished yet. As you have probably read, there is still one part missing, the stand. After finishing, I have to think, what could be published.

99Andy99 ok..its up to you. But..unisolder is open source..free project. And other same..i like this becouse it use only 245 tips..not need other like unisolder. Anyway..thank you.

Hello, thank you for your positive response. Currently it's compatible only with 245's soldering tips. Because thermocouple is inside a tip, not in handle. But generally could be compatible with all JBC tips. (Maybe calibration is enough). For other "tips + thermocouples" it will need some HW modifications probably. As I have already mentioned on project description. Unisolder is much more complex with lot of features. I didn't need multiple "handle" support and features.

@@99Andy99 Thank you for such a prompt reply. Please tell me what is better then to buy for yourself. Unisolder 5.2, it’s like yours. I want to use tips 115 and 210 from JBC

@@user-vo7ke7jp9i What should I compare, Unisolder and mine, or something else? I have quickly looked into unisolder. It's compatible with 245 and 210 as well. I am not sure with 115, from DS looks like that there is a different voltage (8.5V) instead of 24V.

First, my choice fell on unisolder 5.2, then I saw this station on your video and now I don’t know what to choose. Can you compare them and help me with the choice? I want to use stitches 245, 210, 115 and 105.

@@user-vo7ke7jp9i As I already said. 245 and 210 should be working on Unisolder as well. I have tried only 245 on my machine, but 210 could be working also with different settings. Then 115 a 105 could be a problem on both constructions. I am not sure with the voltages. If you have a soldering tip, you can test it before buying some components. For your use-case, I am preferring Unisolder, because you are going to use multiple tips.

Thank you. I didn't make it open source. But I will share the files to be able to build it. There are still some open points, which should be fixed. What do you mean by design files, housing or PCB?
