Andrew, what brand is the tripmeter? I like the orange display as is not so harsh as the white RallySafe? on the left of video. Congrats to you and Riley on the win.

top quality video. that car looked planted. how do you both practice the comms, do you read through the notes beforehand or just drive it and call it on the day?

For this event Riley and I were using Smoothline Trophy Notes by Bernie Webb and Steve Glenney. www.smoothline.com.au Two pass recce the day before the event to check the notes and make personal modifications with incar video and Stilo headsets to record all discussion inside the recce car whilst making or checking existing notes. I watch this back on my laptop to confirm all changes and also practice reading the notes at speed with the sound turned off from searching for the stage from rallies in the same area in previous years on youtube, or if I have our own saved footage from that road if we have competed in the same event before. By the time we get to drive the course at speed on the day of the rally I would have seen the road 4 or 5 times already which helps with confidence and note delivery on the day. Hope this helps.

You both did really well in there. Roadbook appears to miss a lot of crucial calls and information - hopefully the organisers (and checker) learn for future events. Crashed cars are no good for anyone

Based on road speed. Looks like the RGR needed to be cautioned, particularly over the grid.....lucky you guys did not have an off as well.
