I appreciate this video especially because I also have super fine hair. DIY techniques don't always work for my hair but this is great!

I wonder if mirroring your phone camera screen onto your pc and then setting your pc in front of you would make doing the back easier, like a reverse mirror and more accurate view of what the back of ur head looks like

It was literally a couple years after Dyson that revlon released this brush.

Others say your not to use them at the root at all. More than one on-line say only to start half way down the hair, that to do it at the root is bad. So which one is it. Can you show a before and after on let's say a woman client with long thick hair? Would appreciate. Thanks for the info on explaining the difference between thinning and texturing. I had the thinning and was glad I only did a testing area on the ends I was going to cut out anyway in a haircut and saw it took out too much and looked awful with the thinning shears.

Is there a way to tell what kind of hair you have without comparing it to others?

Could the hair fall happen months after I damaged it? I haven’t styled it with heat for months but the last couple times I used my blow dry brush in August I used it wrong and know I completely fried my hair 😢 could that be why my hair has thinned and is breaking now?

I have a bob and wrap my hair every night . I need to do another olaplex treatment on myself today in the salon . But I need a hot oil treatment at the same time . Should I do the hot oil treatment first , wash it and then apply the olaplex 1 & 2 ? 🙂
@Sheepshit21 күн бұрын
I am wondering the same for hair dye. If I need to dye my hair first and then book the olaplex treatment. Or do the treatment first. But I see she doesn’t answer questions 💔

I’m turned off by sponsored videos. The glowing reviews of the product often seem forced and not entirely sincere. I’ve also seen some people actually look a little embarrassed about being a shill for some company. That said, I understand that you are trying to make a living.

Wow. Thanks. I have given up on having someone else cut my hair. Last girl made me look like a prison inmate. Practically high & tight. I will be wearing a hat until I’m presentable. When I finally need a cut, I think I can use your techniques. Also, I cut my husband’s hair (30 yrs running) & this will make me better at it. 💛

My hair texture is pretty similar to yours. Very thin, a slight wave, but mostly formless frizz... annoying bits flipping out all the time. I have tried so many different things to try to play up the wave, but it really isn't working. I believe my hair's problematic texture is due to PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and a sluggish thyroid. Anyway, I am amazed by how great your hair looks after the treatment. I am going to look into having this done to my hair (professionally.... no way I would attempt this myself).

I don't like this video. I don't have any of these haircuts, so it's not anything personal. It's just not cool to shame people for what they have on their head, if they like it that's what matters. I watched your video a little bit ago about that person that left a comment, shaming people for trying to cut their own hair. This kind of has that sort of vibe. They were acting like they knew better and like they were the judge on what a person should do with their hair, but that's exactly what you're doing. I'm just going to point that out and say that it's kind of disappointing to see this kind of video.
@catalystcometАй бұрын
I'm glad that you made this video. I've never understood why hairdressers are so freaking judgmental about me cutting my own hair, like, y'all know I raise kids too right? Lol, you know what I mean? There are so many things that we do that have *so* much more impact in the day and in the world then cutting our own hair. It freaking grows back! Now don't get me wrong, one of the best memories I have is of going and getting a fantastic cut after having found out my boyfriend of 2 years had been cheating on me the entire time. I couldn't have done that at home for sure. I wish to God everyday I could find that hairdresser again because most of them, most of them suck that I have found. I started bleaching and dying my own hair when I was 16 and do you want to know what I did? I gave myself bright red hair like Ronald McDonald, even tried bleaching my eyebrows lol (DON'T). I wrecked it to the point that I eventually shaved it all off, which was fine for me because I was a little punk rock girl. It grew back, I learned how to do it better, and I have no regrets. I never would have been able to afford to pay salon prices to have my hair as many different colors as I have had it. My hair became a massive part of myself expression which was absolutely huge for me. Have I accidentally gone too far sometimes? Absolutely. Did I learn that I'm not half bad with a pair of scissors because I had to trim the pieces that I had overdeveloped? Yep. I'm grateful that I fried my hair at a young age because now I'm much more confident with my hair cutting skills when it comes to my own children. If there's one thing in this world that we should not be so terrified of learning, it should be on something that can literally grow back! Thank you for making this video I literally just sighed from how refreshing it is. I'm currently trying to figure out how to work with these weird angles on my head right now, and watching your videos, your temperament is helping to remind me that, I got this.

What kind of scissors are best for dusting fine, wavy, tailbone-length hair? German or Japanese steel? Convex edge? Beveled edge? Micro serrated beveled edge? My hair got caught in a fan, which cut me some long layers that I didn't want, with about the worst possible blade! Now, those sections have split ends. I also want to dust my hair for maintenance going forward, which will be the only use these scissors get put to.
