Hello at the moment i have a plasterboard chimney breast but I'm fitting a wood burner so i going to use a flue liner is it best to use concrete block or brick any advice would be appreicated.

Hi Peter. I'm in Iceland and bricks are imported and expensive, so I use a lot of vectors, which are Icelandic cheaper and fireproof. The black stone I use is a natural stone and is fashionable here in Iceland, but is very expensive and is called gray stone. When choosing a material, it depends on where you are.
