Awesome!! Tuff gig with no lights and scorching in the cali sun. They won em over just like you’d expect the bloody who to do.⚡️

Dave signed my Declaration CD when he was on the Hard Travellin tour at a small place here In Portsmouth NH. A very good night it was!

If I'm gonna be honest, this may be the best recorded live performance ever by The Who, and maybe in music history. Like, they're just all firing off in all cylinders, and everything just works. This is even better than other performances by them like: Pure And Easy (Young Vic 1971), A Quick One (While He's Away - R&R Circus 1968), We're Not Gonna Take It / See Me, Feel Me (Woodstock 1969) and Amazing Journey / Sparks (Live At The London Collusiem 1969). So many good choices here!

Hearns is one of my favorite boxers. The flurry, speed, and impact of his punches just crazy to me.

Amazing how Dave, Twist, and Eddie played for him after Mike said he quit. I wonder if they heard him or thought maybe they didn’t hear him right. Mike even looks paranoid for the betrayal. Hated it.

0:09 Ive been listening to this specific recording since I first acquired a copy back in in 1979. Every few months I come back to get blown away one more time. All are fantastic! John always on his game. Kieth syncing with Roger. However, this particular recording is absolutely Kieth and Pete! I’ve never heard these two play quite like this. Not Live at Leeds, not anything. As great as all those recordings are, this is Kieth and Pete sharing ESP with each other; at their absolute finest.

Cannot express what this band means to me. Fan from 1983. Best live act Mike Peters by far. Keep Strong, have faith and hope. Absolute legend.

I went to this gig at the Scala. We waited for ages in the queue while the band members were delivered one by one and the same limo. Great gig though. I seem to remember the TV host getting hit on the head with a flying can of beer.

It's 2024 tomorrow and I'm here watching this after seeing Dave Sharp play a solo gig in Dundee 3 nights ago. He was brilliant. The Alarm were a massive part of my teenage years, into my early adult life and I will always be grateful and a big fan of all of them.
