According to my research of the past 15 years, Charles Dickens was not the original author. He plagiarized the manuscript of an American couple named Mathew and Abby Whittier, who had written it in years 1838-39.

Ha I was just reading Genesis chapters 1,2,3 and I was reflecting on Steinbeck's "East of Eden." Thank you from Nashville!

@@Bigrhythm4 how interesting. We are going to read it in my Honors 12 class this Friday. I’ve never read East of Eden, should I? What is the most interesting argument of the novel?

I was excited to come across this podcast. Can you elaborate a little about what exactly you covered here? Is it the story or more about the author?
@howtolovelitpodcast64535 ай бұрын
@@englishwithnilanjana Nilanjana, thank you for your interest. This is an analysis podcast so we do both. For example, if we are doing a book, the first episode will have more about the author, but the following episodes will break down the work. If you look at the episodes on MacBeth, for example, we look at the culture and history of Scotland because for most of the world, this is unfamiliar, but the larger focus is on the work itself.

Thank you! Your kind words made this Sunday so happy! A teacher friend recommended Jurassic Park and I kind of felt the same way, but after studying the book I found myself converting to a Dino lover. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Much love and have a great week!

I love y'all so much! I didn't even want to listen to the Jurassic Park podcasts. Of course, I listened to all three shows and all three were great. Thank you so much for what you do. Your chemistry makes me laugh every episode.

In the off chance y’all are checking the comments in your 3-year-old videos, just want you to know: Christy, I’m now about 14 years removed from your English class at Bolton. And after graduating from medical school in May, I’m now in my first year of residency for emergency medicine. Even after all the learning I’ve done, I still somehow have the “Friends, Romans, Countrymen,” speech rattling around in my head. I rediscovered Shakespeare a few years back when I realized many of the high end London productions of the plays are now streamable. After enjoying all of the Bard’s other works, however, Julius Caesar in your class will always be remembered as my first. Best wishes, Chandler M.

@@cmhandler chandler, I remember you and we check the comments! First, congrats on Med school. Those Bolton days are golden years! I’m at Bartlett High. You are always welcome to come by. Thank you for checking in. I am thrilled you remember “ Friends, Romans, Countrymen…”. May no one ever lend you an ear in the ER. :) hugs!
