This was very nicely done. Do you know of a way to lower the definition of digital shots? I use Fuji XT4 and the digital high definition doesn't help with film simulation. I've tried a bunch of photoshop things I could think of but it just create the low def look of film.

Nice images here! I love the colors and composition. I came across this 'lens' this past week while watching videos about the 18mm f2. I was really considering this body cap lens for my X-E1 while I shop for the Fuji lens. Seems this would be great for daytime street photos!

It sure is small enough. The f6.3 aperture is a bit limiting. Although my photo teacher 100 years ago said that f8 is the perfect f stop…

May I know the full model type of the lens you are using? I looking for a 90s lens for my F90x. I have an 80s era Nikon AF-D lens that will autofocus with my F401s but not with my F90x Despite having it in autofocus mode. The screen does dot show the AF icon. But with manual focus i get correct indicators.

It's this one here allphotolenses.com/lenses/item/c_1593.html#prettyPhoto . Nikkor AF 28-85. One of the first Nikon AF lenses, pretty rudimentary but all the glass in this era was well built and solid. This is a sharp lens

How to know if this is still working? I have this but don't know if it's still functioning
@videocamguy10644 жыл бұрын
Load it up and shoot a test roll, have it developed and check for light leaks. This is a mechanical system, and the works can get gummed up over time. There are still shops that do cleaning and maintenance on these cameras, maybe worth it if its not working properly.

Very educational about TIFF locations. Way better than trying to get this info from TIFF. About camera, it has not too high price, but lenses are very limited due to obsolete mount and not compatible with third party manufactured lenses, except and maybe Vivitar with adaptal mount. And Leica R lenses are way too overpriced for nothing. IMO.

hi i've been taking some pictures with the camera too but i have a question. I would really like to take portraits so getting my F down would be really nice to get shallow debt of field. This with the 1/60 shutter speed will make my picture overexposed for sure. How does the AE mode affect the aperture? Does it just adjust the shutter speed and keep the aparture as open as possible or...?
@yolexvidz5 жыл бұрын
in other words how were you able to get pictures with such shallow debt of field outside
@videocamguy10645 жыл бұрын
@@yolexvidz Think of this Camera as a simple point and shoot, where you can only control the Apeture and the ASA (Film Sensitivity). This lens I have on this copy of the camera is a f1.7 so I set the apeture there and the Shutter speed then compensated to create the correct exposure. Does this answer your question?
@freddyfuller56705 жыл бұрын
Why on all your pictures does the picture look straight when you focus on it yet as you snap it it seems to end up on an angle....is this you are the camara....not a complaint...just a question and query about how I need to adjust my picture taking

Hey Freddy, the canted angle is supposed to be a printed paper snapshot spread on the table. Simply a creative choice instead of making the picture straight.
