Glad you could beat the pantheon of the master so fast, to Summon the dude on the cover of the dlc you have to go to the place where you found gorb and go all the way to the bottom of the cliff to the left and look for holes in the walls. Eventually you’ll find a broken lantern or shrine and to the right of it, you’ll see a corpse with a mask on it that you need to dream nail. When you see the lantern again it won’t be broken and you need to hit a few times. After that, go back to dirt mouth and you’ll figure out the rest. :)

You should go to the left and use the up spell (I forgot the name) on the shrine in the abyss and unlock the abyssal shriek. Also, you should go back to the abyss with king soul equipped ;)

For white palace I highly recommend using hive blood, you find it at the end of the hive after you fight hive knight. The hive is in kingdoms edge.

YOOOOOOOOOOO I just discovered this series

9:25 This fight is the perfect place to practice spells, the boss doesn’t move to far away and is easy to hit. The main spell that should’ve been used here was Howling Wraiths (the upward one) because the boss is above you the majority of the time. Spells are definitely worth the soul as one cast of Wraiths deals over 4x the damage of a nail swing, if you use 3 in a row it’ll deal 117 damage in only about 2 seconds. For reference the nail you have now does 9 damage, meaning you’d need to hit the boss 13 times to do the same amount of damage. It’s good to build a habit of using spells as later on in the game there are charms and upgrades that drastically improve spell damage. Another VERY important spell is Descending Dark, the spell is made up of 3 parts, the dice towards the ground, the slam, and the aftershock. After you slam you are completely invincible until the spell ends, this can be used defensively as a sort of dodge that also does damage. It takes a while to get used to but it can be a strong resource to your move set if done well. Ps. If you’re going for a spell build, Shamans Stone and Spell Twister are the best charms for spells (you have both of these).

You are getting better at pogoing, that’s good! The only tip I can think of is to dash out of the way of some enemies attacks instead of just walking, this can get you out of the way faster and avoid things like this: 13:24 You did it correctly here: 13:29 This is crucial in the second phase of the Soul Master Just remembered another thing, throughout the series you’ve been pausing between heals like this: 14:21 and 17:54, if you hold down the heal button you can make every heal after the first one twice as fast That might be a bit hard to understand so I’ll give an example, *Your method:* First heal: 1sec Second heal: 1sec Third heal: 1sec *Chaining method:* First heal: 1sec Second heal: 0.5sec Third heal: 0.5 sec

A few tips based of this episode, 1. You were not supposed to do the dark room right now, there’s an item for light you can get later. But I’m very impressed you managed to do it without it. 2. Do more down slashes aka pogos. pogos are an important aspect of combat in this game, the main strategy is to jump above an enemy and then pogo off of them. (Pogoing in the big fly fight makes it a lot easier). 3. In the menu (pressing the ‘i’ key) you can look at the full map, pressing tab just shows you the area you’re currently in. I’ll try to avoid spoilers in my tips as the less spoilers you know, the better the experience, but I don’t want you to get annoyed at the unnecessary stuff like the dark rooms. Ps. The keyboard sounds being removed increased watch quality a lot, good job fixing that :)
