If possible can you recreate the making a soccer game with blender series with the new upbge
@zion66802 ай бұрын
Does this still work in 4.3?
@blendermanstudioАй бұрын
No, in versions 2.8 and above it won't work because there is no game engine. So either download version 2.79 or Blender UPBGE which is specifically made for creation of games 😀 hope it helped!
@zion6680Ай бұрын
@@blendermanstudio I meant the 4.3 alpha build of UPBGE. But I already tried it and it did work, but there was a problem with the Edit Object actuator, when I use it to spawn an object like a projectile in split screen it will crash the engine, so split screen doesn't seem entirely viable, that or it has to be python scripted completely.
@blendermanstudioАй бұрын
@@zion6680Yeah it' s just small script without any error fixes. It' s true, maybe the solution is to script it fully, it's hard to say

hello, i might be a little late for you to reply, but at around 1:25, it mirrors and there is no gap between both parts. When I follow all the steps through (I'm pretty sure I've been doing it exactly right), though there's always a gap and I can't put them directly next to each other. Could you please help me so I know what to do? Thank you!! Also, amazing tutorial :)
@blendermanstudio2 жыл бұрын
Well, the problem Is probably with location of the object origin. Try to add mirror mod. And then go to edit mode select all and move object toward origin point, it should help. Or another thing, try to increase (in modifier edit) merge value. I hope it helped:)

bruh how do u get the principled bdsf thing and material output ive been trying so long
@blendermanstudio2 жыл бұрын
you should have it automatically set, but you can fix your problem. When you have object you want edit you press in shader editor add material and you open shader editor. Then you simply press shift+a (the cursor must be pointing to node editor) and press shader►principled BSFD, the same thing with output►material output, then you join them together. I hope I helped you :)

Oh, ok try to check if everything is set (all keys must be joined into one object) then select keys object And go to the edit mode (go to image editor). Go to top view (num7) And press "u" then unwrap from view And check if the texture Is selected in image editor, then scale it into the right size And it should be good ;) Thanks for comment! :)

Cool modeling; Except one thing, these are not LOW POLY. Good Polycount for objects not close to the camera should be as close to 100 faces or lower as possible. Most developers use "L.O.D." (Level of Detail) to trick the camera, combined with Parallax Mapping. The popcorn Kernels as an example if you want them to be independent objects, can be generated using a slightly rounded cube and parallax mapped Kernal texture over it. Whereas if it's a static object, you can instead make the Popcorn in the bag a texture map and show a few small abnormal triangles containing the same texture, This creates depth and variation that tricks the eye. Additionally; any face the camera can not see; should be removed or greatly simplified. The Burger, should be all one object, with the top bun, bottom bun, cheese, and Meat all one connected object. The Pickles merely extrusions from either the cheese or meat. Then in scenes where the burger insides are shown, such as the Bun being placed on the Burger, you replace the Low poly mesh with a slightly modified one that reflects the effect you're looking for. This saves in processing and load time tremendously.
@blendermanstudio2 жыл бұрын
Oh, that's great advice for me, thank you So much! I meant low poly as other word for easy, clear but I'll take your advice to my projects. Thanks!

Hi again! what is the difference between (extrude and scale) and (inset)?

Scaling means changing size of object And extrude - that adds new face, edge,.. to the object
