May I ask how to enlarge the font size by using Wordwall? (multiple choice, with more words at one choice) Thanks in advance 😅
@ttvRussellКүн бұрын
"To enlarge the font size in Wordwall for multiple choice questions, you can try adjusting the text size in the theme settings. After selecting your activity, go to the 'Theme' tab and choose a layout that allows for larger text, or customize it manually if the theme supports it. Hope that helps!

I am impressed : do you think that this can be suitable for teachers in countries where English is second or even a third language . ( I am from Algeria).
@michaeldoherty49278 күн бұрын
Very much so. Do you use the Common European Framework (CEFR)? You could ask Chat GPT to create a table comparing the US grade system with the CEFR levels. It won't be 100% accurate but it will provide a good guide to tailoring materials to your learners levels.
@ttvRussell8 күн бұрын
Thank you! Yes, it's definitely suitable. Diffit supports multiple languages, so teachers in non-English-speaking countries like Algeria can easily use it to create forms in their preferred language.

Russell, I have another question. I am working with Chinese, so I have characters, pinyin pronunciation and English meaning for every entry. I would like to construct a quiz with characters requiring an answer in pinyin, character requiring an answer in English, and English requiring an answer in character. Is there any way I can use 3 lists from which questions are generated?
@ttvRussell8 күн бұрын
Thanks for your question! Wordwall doesn’t support multiple lists directly, but you can create custom quizzes by manually entering each question with characters, pinyin, and English. You’ll need to mix them as needed for each question type.

Sir, Thank you so much for your swift reply, sir, please let me know which platform is best to make medical Videos whether I have to choose Camtasia or screenpal, I am a pharmacy lecturer, so please guide me
@ttvRussell11 күн бұрын
You're welcome! For creating medical videos as a pharmacy lecturer: Camtasia is best if you want advanced editing, quizzes, and a polished look. ScreenPal (Screencast-O-Matic) is simpler and faster for quick recordings with basic edits. Choose Camtasia for more features and professional videos, or ScreenPal for ease and speed. Camtasia links: Download Camtasia and try for free techsmith.z6rjha.net/MXPagn Buy Camtasia with discount ( only if you are in education) techsmith.z6rjha.net/GmnJ3L Buy Camtasia Commercial ( for people not working in education) techsmith.z6rjha.net/jWNKV6

Russell, Your tutorial is great. One of the things I didn't see was how to limit to the number of entries in a game or quiz. Example: a Chinese vocabulary list has 30 entries, but I only want to test 10 at a time. If I play the game/quiz again, it might choose 10 different words from the list. will Wordwall do this? Thanks.
@ttvRussell11 күн бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! Yes, Wordwall can do that! When setting up your quiz or game, look for the option to limit the number of questions. You can choose to display a random selection of entries (e.g., 10 out of 30), and each time the game is played, it can pull different entries from your vocabulary list. This makes it perfect for varied testing!

Hi there, alot of your videos seem to be aimed at lower classes. Do you have any videos on effective digital language learning strategies aimed at students in exam classes, namely Higher Level students taking languages for the Leaving Certificate. The Leaving Certificate is a final exam that students take in Ireland in their final year of secondary school. So for example vocabulary learning, comprehension skills, practising grammar, dialogue writing, translation skills, opinion pieces, diary/note writing/emails. I've learnt quite a bit from your videos, thanks. (I'm a teacher of Higher Level Spanish)

@ttvRussell14 күн бұрын
You can try enabling the “Share to breakout rooms” feature by going to Zoom’s web portal under Settings > In Meeting (Advanced) and toggling it on. If you don’t see the option, ensure your Zoom client is fully updated and check if your account plan supports it, as it may not be available on all plans. If it's still missing, contact Zoom support for further assistance.

hello I have a problem Before, my preferred web language was Persian, but only for sites like KZbin or Google Translate, and when I was searching in Chrome, it was English (that's what I want), but today, suddenly, after searching, the search results appeared on the right side, and I noticed. Its language has been changed to Persian and I can't fix it like before. Either everything should be in English or Persian. (I don't want the search results to be on the right) but I want the language of other things to be Persian like before. When I change the displayed language to English in the search settings, after refreshing the page, it returns to Persian and cannot be changed. I don't know how to prevent search results from being shown based on the language of my account. (as before) Or at least the search results are still displayed on the right side when the language is persian.
@ttvRussell15 күн бұрын
It sounds like a sync issue between your Google Search and Account settings. Try this: Go to Google Search Settings and set the search language to English, then save. In your Google Account, go to Data & Personalization > Language and make sure English is the primary language, and Persian is secondary. Clear your browser cache/cookies and check if the settings stick. This should stop search results from showing on the right. Let me know if it helps!
@abolefazlabdalazada816315 күн бұрын
@@ttvRussellIt works, but unfortunately everything will be in English then, it's not like before when things like KZbin and Google translator are still Persian while Google Search is English. I don't know why it was like that before. It's not like it's a big problem (severe OCD) anyway, thank you very much for your help.

Did you cheat against Tom by any chance....? Interesting, bit like Kahoot but I doubt I could do this with my two, 65+ pensioners' classes. Bit beyond them. They've probably never done anything like this, ever! Thanks for the low-down. Best wishes, Alison

No cheating against Tom, I promise! 😊 Blooket is similar to Kahoot, but I understand your concern with a 65+ class. You could start slow with simpler games and see how they adapt-it might surprise you! Thanks for watching, Alison, and best wishes to you and your class!
