Awesome poddy 🫶 killing it Keegs !! Missed the wording early on in the podcast with iice explaining his energy / shield he presents as a human & had studied his behaviours around it . Want to dive deeper into for myself and wanted to know the name if anyone had it 🙌

1:03:28 Gratitude/PositiveThought gets generated from a different part of the brain, and Stress/Anxiety is generated from a different part of the brain BUT they then travel to an very important ‘area’ of the brain where only one can stay there and other has to disappear. If Stress/Anxiety is in that area at a certain moment you have to have a mechanism to generate Gratitude/PositiveThought and it will travel to ‘the area’ to replace the Stress/Anxiety and kick it out so Gratitude/PositiveThought can reside there

This is INSANELY good. If the guy who just won his fourth comp in a row is talking about how gratitude for the (seemingly) littlest of things is really the key, then that surely ought to give the rest of us more than enough food for thought. It is SO heartening to hear more and more people talking about these kinds of things these days. I tip my hat to both of you.

Great podcast. RCG handled himself well considering the trauma and grief he faced in such a short period. Best wishes to him and his famiglia he's going to be a big loss at the Eels been one of our best and most consistent players.

I didn't realise his move was finalised so early on... maybe my memory is bad but yeah I didn't realise he was basically a Titan before the season even ended. Sad but it is what it is I guess. Connection with Junz showed on field, 2 of the fittest forwards in the game, pushing 60+ mins week in week out. Feel kind of bad for Junz now having to do his 6k walk on his own... maybe Lane can join him... I can't imagine what goes through someones head when told you have 3 months left with this person, not even about funeral stuff, you dont even want to care of think about that. Do you think in your head like 'how do i make the most of the next 3 months, what can i say, what can i do' just your train of thought then to just find out theyre gone less than 2 weeks later would be insanely difficult My uncle died on my mums birthday, I remember they took him home to spend his last few hours with his family, we all got together at his place, we left their house and 30mins later at like 11pm my mum got the call saying he passed. Its so hard losing them but its just as hard seeing them just widdle away and youre absolutely helpless about it. absolutely heartbreaking stuff. Thank you for your service with Parra, you were amazing for us. Wish you the best with the Titans and hope the mental is doing okay after this episode.

Thank you Kaylee for having this conversation. I know you probably won't see this, but it was emotional and made me think how important it is to spend time with those we love. What you've achieved and the closeness of your family, as well as your openness in conversation is seriously inspirational and admirable. I lost my mum a couple months ago, and I know the feeling of wondering if you could've asked something, or if something could be different. The way you bettered yourself as a person through a time like that is wonderful. As a 19 year old a bit north of Brisbane and a little bit aimless at the moment, I have taken a lot out of this sit down. Good luck with your future, I only started getting into swimming this past olympics and I've nearly become a die-hard swimming fan despite barely knowing how to swim, so thank you for making it so exciting to watch! Have a nice meet and enjoy it!
