Fantastic video. Thank you. Every day chores are interesting, perhaps not as fun as videoing the horses and their fun time with each other. To me Your videos are Fantastic and Interesting and Beautiful and A little piece of a whole different kind of Paradise. Again thank you.

Horses in the wild will dig a hole down looking for fresh grass. Just instinct.

This video just answered a nagging question I’ve had about my gelding who I know loves me but who is always lightly biting on me when I scratch on him. How did I not realize he was trying to groom me back? It looks exactly like your horses scratching each other with their teeth. One mystery solved. Maybe I won’t forbid it so strongly.

yup, super common, just lightly discourage and they'll think they're the king of the place not having to do anything. Although, it is a communication method to tell you what to do too, so if you can observe their body, ears and eyes to get that sorted, then they'll never try to cogroom again.

Haven't had horses for decades, but I don't recall having seen a mare in heat "hunching" at the back and standing on tip-toes like Josie's been doing...

You know Graeme, I have been thinking for years now that you would definitely benefit from having half a dozen 'yard chickens'. They take very little maintenance and provide fresh chicken (when you cull the herd) and eggs. We had some for years and it was nice. Just a thought. I know I have not posted on here for quite some time, but KNOW, I do watch your videos. Love ya my man!
