Where the MDX misses its mark is there is no third row seats vents and also it takes premium gas.

@ if manufacture recommends it then that is best for the engine long term. I have heard of owners who only used regular and they had some engine knocking

I love it west side Acura. But they should make Acura RDX type s it feel lonely. They get a big engine kick 290 horsepower and 375 torque.

The storage in the rear Highlander is about the same as the MDX. Barely notice a difference as I just got rid of my 3rd MDX for my 1st Toyota (Highlander). Prefer MDX styling but after driving the XLE Yoda, I was very comfortable. Plus the tech was solid. No more DVD player but both kids have tablets. The “new” Acura/Honda transmissions don’t seem as reliable as the 6 speed in the previous generation. That’s the main reason I moved away from Honda Motor Co

@@MarionCole-y9b no it does not. They tell you that. I drive a 2020 V6. The new turbo 4 does not like feel like a 6. It feels & sounds like a 4. I drove it. It does look better than the previous model. The previous model also had a 4 cyl. The jump to the new turbo 4 was 66hp. The jump from the previous 6 to Type S is 65hp. Basically the exact same jump. That, to me., means it should have never been the Type S at all. Should have just been the new V6 ASpec & regular 6 replacement. They should have gave the Type S a twin turbo & gave it 400hp or around there!

I have one with red interior. I also have the 2012 tlx V6 the 2024-5 with the awd drives better then the v6 you can alway get the s type 🤷🏾♂️

@teemanz2264 pretty sure you don't have a 2012 TLX with a V6! Pretty sure you have the larger TL!! Or you have a TSX. Because if you had a V6 TLX Aspec you would know the new 4cyl doesn't drive better & is not faster than the car it replaced. Ask me how I know? Yes there is a Type S but that should literally be the replacement for the previous V6 Aspec. Not Type S. Previous generation had a 4cyl & a 6cyl. The bump in power for the previous 4 cyl to the new one is 66hp. The bump in power from the previous V6 to the new turbo V6 is 65hp. Almost the same bump. That's why it shouldn't be a Type S. Type S should be a twin turbo with 400hp minimum! The new Porsche RS makes 493hp from a naturally aspirated straight 6. No turbo!! 400hp isn't much to ask for Acura. Your EV's will have 500+hp ffs!

I have a 2019 RDX and am very disappointed with my car. The main reason is that the 360 all-around view cameras have very poor resolution, and I can barely see all objects around. In reverse, it's also impossible to see anything, regardless of whether it's day or night. The display itself is small, and it becomes even smaller when using the cameras, as part of the screen remains dark. The most frustrating thing is that after four years of use, the display broke, and it cost me $10,008 to repair. So, before buying a car, check the screen and make sure it meets your expectations. Personally, I won't buy an Acura again. I previously had a 2012 Lexus RX and deeply regret trading it for what I have now.
