After cutting it out for some time and then coming back, it doesn’t feel the same. It’s like abstaining makes you feel just how toxic something like alcohol is when you try it again. Not doing it anymore because I’m just sick of the screwed sleep, weight gain and less recovery between workouts.

@@ledanphammthank u. Daughter going to college this fall, I want her to remember me sober. Also mother in law coming to visit from overseas. Maybe to spend time with her too. Last time she was here I was still struggling, ..going to a recovery center daily program for alcoholism.

My children are now of "drinking age" and it has made me rethink my own habit, I reduced 98 ,,% and I am discovering the reason we drink is very much emotional. Thank you for sharing your story ti a young audience, they need to know they have choices.

I just had 2 months off, then had a glass of wine today for my girlfriend’s birthday.That single glass made me feel so awful and nauseous. Consolidated my desire to not drink again.

If only I knew how easy it would be, it’s been over 2 years and I don’t have any cravings at all, for me the key difference was that I didn’t suffer withdrawal, not even within the first 30 days after go’ogling and following Steffon Barkload’s and quitting because I just wanted to.
