Reminds of post rock mix 4 - that special one which was tribute to your grandfather ❤ i still my comment on it from years ago.
@9EricCN3Ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment and for bringing that up. I think around that time is when I started to hear things differently. Nowadays I'm much more into ambient post-rock, stuff that has a lot of slow-developing drones and not as much percussion and heavily distorted guitar...it just seems to resonate with me more. Also, I remain endlessly frustrated that KZbin's copyright system is so ambiguous. One day those mix videos will be up and the next they will be invisible because someone, somewhere (almost never the artist themselves!) changed their policy. I get why it's happening of course and there's nothing we can do about it, but for creators who put a lot of time into making those compilation videos, having the entire things blocked because of one song is very annoying...

Beautiful @@9EricCN3thanks for the reply Eric. Same for me. Started on the heavy stuff and still enjoy it in the gym. But most of the time it's ambient and ambient post rock. This stuff was very soothing during my challenging periods in life. I saw you started this channel in 2013 which is same time I started my blog. You can find it linked in my video descriptions. But props to both of us for keeping on our projects. I know these random connection moments in the sea of the Internet are not easily forgotten. Much love, Ricky.
I do occasionally work for an electronic group. They have been around for a Very long time. I love lucette bourdin.

Haha, this was my fourth time seeing them and the crowds have always been pretty chill. A bunch of the people up front really got into it during Burial on the Presidio Banks and Little Smoke though!

This song was SO much better live than this recording suggests. I'm kind of disappointed by how poorly my phone picked up the sound starting at 4:28 because that's one of my favorite parts in TWDY's entire discography... Ah well, it was an amazing time nonetheless :)

Mate you are the reason for me to be in the post rock scene. I stumbled across one of the albums you shared. There are many people who will appreciate this genre of music especially those who have been through a lot in life and just need peace and solace. I request you to reconsider your thoughts, I appreciate what you are doing , but if you change my life then you change others too. Keep doing the good work . From NZ.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm so happy the uploads have helped you. I don't know about full albums but I might do a few more compilations in the near future...

Please post more albums mate. Your channel will skyrocket. Please post a combined playlist of songs.
@9EricCN32 ай бұрын
I used to do that in the early 2010s but ever since my first channel got suspended it hasn't really been worth it. If I stumble upon something I like I'll post it but chances are it will already have been posted by someone with a much larger following so it won't be for the views.

I share the sentiments of so many, whom loved Lucettes music, since the first listen. I continue to discover her catalogue, fresh cuts, taking me on journeys of the interstellar mind. I am grateful for her desire, and courage, to create throughout the storm, and to leave behind for all to hear, and experience, her inner light. Godspeed Lucette. ❤

If you've followed this channel for any amount of time, you probably know that Hammock is my favorite band, but I can never properly explain why without feeling like I'm missing something or not doing the music justice. So I'll just let this one speak for itself. :)
@parns89973 ай бұрын
Hammock's always been something spiritual with me, something Emerson said: "But the definition of spiritual should be, that which is its own evidence." It's difficult to explain because there's really no reason to explain it, the music is the best proof, like you said
