Buffy’s songs are my favourite. Girl was struggling, this is a fitting episode. But the Tara Giles duet is also beautiful. Thanks for the behind the scenes!

Still pissed about the "reasons" Giles left. They keep trying to push this parent/child, growing up narrative, but it should have never have been brought up. Giles & Buffy were a work team, and Giles had a position of research, training and support. A slayer should ALWAYS have a watcher. Trying to spin it as a family, or father/daughter relationship was crap. Sure, emotionally, they had that, but the JOB required otherwise.

If it was so toxic I can't imagine the actors would have stayed. It's likely that with time passing their best and worst memories become more prominent and the days and days of "ok" get forgotten.

What’s Giles name? Tony Head? Dude can sing and also sung free bird in another episode. One of his first acting gigs was in a coffee commercial which was weird because them _Englishes_ tend to favor *tea*

Thank you for this! So cool to see the blood, sweat, and tears that went into filming this incredible episode. I remember when it premiered and all the outdoor advertising featured Buffy's eyes with her pupils as musical notes.

3:31 - 3:45 the guy in the oversized white hoodie is none other than Adam Shankman, the judge from So You Think You Can Dance. I read that he's worked on choreography for theater, film and tv and this discovery is plain 😎.

If anyone didn’t notice how cute this is. At 6:13 Alyson is sitting on Tony’s lap. And I saw on Reddit something about if they had a fling and in my mind I said “Aw look at them they’re so cute” because he’s said many times that he’s like a father to all of them so I just see it as 2 friends who are like father-daughter having cuddles. Ik my friends and I are like that and one of them is like an aunt figure to me so idk🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️Anyone else?

I don’t even know where to begin. Why did it take this long for us to see this clip!? This was an amazing effort on so many peoples part, and it shows how creative every member of this team was. It’s a shame that Joss ended up in the news in a negative light recently because for a human being to have this level of creativity Is absolutely amazing.. to start with a blank sheet of paper, and to develop song after song and dance after dance and pull this all together to make one of the best pieces of television is nothing short of astonishing. They should have run this one week after the episode as a Buffy episode.
