Why did Schrade discontinue the Schf14? I find mine useful, and wanted to buy a couple for Christmas presents, but, to my surprise, they're not made anymore. What happens when a defective product is sold after production stops? There is no stock at Schrade for replacement. They do this too often. I have stopped purchasing Schrade knives.

Lanyard hole is actually an 02 wrench for opening 02 bottles ..

I CANNOT open this knife using the thumb stud ONLY......IMO - the 2 ambidextrous studs should have been placed maybe 1/8th inch further down the blade.....This would have clearly provided more leverage for opening......Does anyone have any possible suggestion for improvement and or adjustment ?...... I tried lubricating the pivot- but to no avail.....Maybe I ended up with a bad example.......looking for suggestions - other than 'strengthen my thumb"......lolol

Just bought one and it doesn't flip as good as you make it look like lol sort of half flips and that's with effort The side of the pocket knife isn't fabric for grip it's just plastic that looks like fabric The blade is sharp but for the money I say invest another 100 dollars on top of this price and buy a skeletool leatherman This would have to be the second Gerber I have bought and not impressed the only thing I liked about this was the blade the rest I feel like I have been lied too the plastic not being fabric just looks like it and the flip doesn't work that well and closing it you have to use two hands if you don't want break your nails lol not a very good design at all 4/10

I lost my first one doing snow removal for my job. Because of how many places I have to go for my job I never even tried to look for it and ordered a new one. Even before any of this happened I would strongly recommend this new generation of sog knives. They're just damn great knives. I got my new one Wich I chose a different color and got the serrated blade (same color as the one in the video). I found the one Iost I had a feeling it might turn up but I got a new one just in case and I had an excuse I'm sure you know the feeling. I found my old one after a snowbank melted down. I took it home it was rusted up a bit but I hit it with some PB blaster worked it in and it's working perfectly. I have never been so impressed with an edc pocket knife in my life. If your shopping around and you want something as reliable as an ak this is your new knife. I can't say how happy I am to have my old and new together. Iv got the trident at too but she's to pretty.

what's the overall length of your pistol as configured in the video? Mine is 28.25". with a 12.5' barrel... Seems like it might not fit, if you;'re is a 10.5".

You should remove the thumbstud if possible when it interfere with the belt, otherwise you will grind it and also skew the angle of sharpening, and add wear to the belt.
