The baby was eating it because the wet nurse was using the powder and it got into her system. The milk contained heavy metal poisoning from the makeup. It's why you're not supposed to take certain medications or eat a lot of fish while breastfeeding.

Honestly most the time I like when reactors watch dub because then I can be doing other things while watching your reactions cuz I don't always have to have my face towards the screen to know what's going on. I watch in sub a lot of the time and I do think it is the better version but it's easier for me as the viewer to have the reactor watch it in dub.
