This is the Vectorcade controller, designed by myself over 24 years ago.

The Vectorlink adapter has a WiiMote style connector on it specifically so that it can mate with the 8BitDo SNES/NES Classic Retro Receiver (aka the Vectorlink Bluetooth Dongle). This uses a specific known protocol to communicate to the console or in this case the Vectorlink. Because of that, it also works with wired Wii controllers and they plug right in and have full analog capabilities. You'll want to read the Vectorlink manual to know how to enable these features, along with additional features like Dynamic Filtering. I highly recommend the official Wii Classic Controller for this, it has a very nice thumbstick (one of the nicest IMO, even better than the PS2 controller).

Right now, only the server admin can do these things... and the server admin is me :D I've made plenty of edits when necessary.

I had a similar nightmare of collecting Starbucks coffee mugs in many countries throughout Europe, and getting them home without breaking. You might also try to pick one up locally and then ship it home after you pack it as well as you think it needs to be. You'll know better than anyone else what it takes, since it'll be yours!

They are, but I think we got lucky here. It usually doesn't end well, but we prepared for the worst and prayed. It will not turn out well if great care is not taken when packaging and shipping. Usually the shell will break in some way, or the plastic that the CRT mounts to will break due to impacts. In rare cases the neck tube can break. Always insure the package, and always add way more padding and box and tape that you think you need :D

Would be great if you joined in on the VHSC :D I do think finishing a lot of missions is also helpful because you get 1000 points for escaping and 100 points for every cavern you travel through on the way out. But yeah, I think the speed progression is based on how many caverns you visit, and possibly how long you are in each one. There's another trick I found about visiting multiple caverns ^_^ which I've put here on display in this video. There is definitely some weird score display issues, but it doesn't look like it jumps up incorrectly at all to me. The other "bugs" I know of are just the odd ways in which drilling sometimes works and sometimes does not... or when enemies can fly right up to you between both of your shots :D lol I do really love this game though because it has multiple strategic ways to get high scores, or just to have fun in the game. I have an interesting tactic just before the very end of the game as well, in the core of mission 4 ;-) And when things get really fast, it's much better to shoot as much as you can on your way to the next door... no loitering or you'll be squished quickly!

Strange I answered, but don't see my answer anymore. Maybe you will see now two answeres (depending of the browser?!). But yeah thank you for the improved version of the video, it's much better than my old video. Also I wrote Helmut in the old video comments, that it seems, that you cannot beat level 5 of Scramble at all. The fuel level is dropping so very fast, that you have to hit every fuel tank at the beginning of the level. And then you loose a life anyway during the UFO level. And even if I died in the meteor level, I know it is impossible to reach the end of level 5, because the fuel is just dropping too fast at the end of the level. PS: Hint to increase the level faster with the original game if somebody wants to try level 5 (or higher): Start with game 3 (level 3). And as far as I know, if you are ramming the enemy base (end boss) instead of shooting it, you die and start again at the end part of the level, but ramming the enemy base at the end of level increases already the level. So start in game 3, ram the end boss to go to level 4, and ram him again to go to level 5. If you have enough lifes, you also can jump to level 6 with this bug, but level 6 is unplayable due to very fast fuel dropping.

@@Chainsaw1974 yes, you cannot make it all of the way through the maze in level 5 without running out of fuel. Also the farthest I found you can reach is about 3/4 of the way through the Ctiy level 6, from that point it's impossible to get enough fuel to continue even if you get them all. We hatched a plan to repeat the City level 4 or 5 with most of your lives to get the highest score. I guess it would probably be best to do it once you get to City 5 with all of your lives, and on the last life you will die at the end of the maze. Good info about ramming the enemy base :D
