I guess time will tell, the sensible way would be to double back but what's sensible about the build 😂. I'm all ears if anyone thinks I'm an idiot and it won't work, the rotary needs to expell the exhaust gasses as fast as possible so having 2 open kinda helps that is my thoughts.

Will the build be ready for the new season? A stand out shell to match the big boys would be great 😁

It has been discussed. I have lots of ideas to trial and this indeed was one and as you say, can be done fairly simply. However, I have come to the conclusion it's best to build the car and follow the fashion until I have a fairly decent solid setup and then go seek more. Watch this space..... If you like simple ideas and barbaric thinking.... Keep watching!

Thank you, I'm excited for the project but massively apprehensive too.. I love to be different. It might well be awesome or a complete failure 🙈 I know Austin Jones ran one in class 10. Not heard anything about Harvey if I'm honest. It's also been brought to my attention that there has been a saloon also. The days of bolting in busas out of a bike that cost a couple of thousand has well gone, there also not the cheapest to rebuild now. If ( like most) you have 3 engines, your looking around 9-10 k for rebuilds at the end of the year. See you around, come say hi if you spot us at a meeting.... Episode 2 is imminent!

Thanks for the positive comment. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to throw at it but we will get there slowly! Once we are up and running, I welcome anyone to come along and support, learn, teach, advise and so on and so forth. Would be nice to see someone els that has experience drive the car one day too to give an opinion... More on this once the cars built... I have a plan😜.

I do the recovery for the Hereford club and travel to watch rounds across the UK. within reasonable distance so look forward to it in the future. Also, don’t forget to build in a strong recovery point at the front. So annoying when we try to recover a poorly car and have to strap to the lower arm!

Appreciate your comment, I just don't have a budget, it's as simple as that. It costs what it costs and takes as long as it does. That said, I do have to consider this is a hobby and I'm a family man with 4 mouths to feed. Perhaps you can expand on why you wouldn't run a rotary rather than jump on the hate bandwagon. I'm fairly confident that my engine is good from the start point, it's freshly rebuilt and dyno tested.... 🤔. I also have a great guy with massive experience on rotary race engines on board, more on this when we visit his shop later this month. I totally get where you are coming from and I do understand this is a development project that's inevitably going to face issues. But.... Dare to be different? Enjoy the engineering and build? Or would you prefer to just have a turn key car and match the rest of them ?

Unfortunately the rules wouldn't allow you to do that, only allowed in class 7 or class 10. What engine did you think about using?
