house was empty for years and still is empty now, how it make more sense to keep it empty? These people were keeping the crack heads and junkies out . Places fior people more interested in making money on property speculation than giving people places to live

@hypeon Did he actually lose his job just because of that? The sad thing is he probably has a family to support and he was only doing his job and appeared quite reasonable. I thought he put across his point quite well and fair enough.

I can't believe the ignorance of some of the recent posts here. The fact that house prices are way above what the majority of people can afford is OK? Is it OK to let houses become run down because the person who owns it doesn't want to live there or spend money to fix it? The way the system is treating decent squatters why would they want to spend the effort in repairing? Get rid of the lanlord mentality in this country. Who needs more than 1 if it isn't just to make money from someone else?

Squatters rights or whatever the fuck it is, should be removed. if you can't afford to purchase your own house then fuck off to the homeless shelter

who takes a photo when delivering mail in normal terms..would that not be an extra measure really... its obvious whos side the camera man is on.he probably leaves there himself. Definitely a loophole in the system, this would have been sorted out in no time in Africa. There's no time for blood sucking parasites like these.

hey, we go and break in to damp shit holes and pretend their ours, then we say it's all to do with our freedom and liberty, fuck you you fucking losers, get a job and sort your pathetic little lives out.

what a joke the dude is shitting himself. He should have at least been ready for the consequences of squatting. I guess you don;t plan ahead when you snort ketamine through the day :)
@Sandro19ninety14 жыл бұрын
Typical. All these young people of middle class origin who now live in 'sqauts' around St Paul's and Stokes Croft thinking there so bloody revolutionary. The legal owner of that property must have gone through so much hassle to get it back from these ketmanie snorting wasters. If your going to stand up against the establishment set fire to a police car or something. I'm sure most of thier parents would be delighted if there home was invaded by squatters.

@sheisafox but its someones property. Its not their house (the squatters) tell them to get a job like every other taxpayer and buy their own homes the scavengers.

fair enough squatting in an abandoned rich companies warehouse, I would like to see some squatters take over the family homes of the protesters, while their parents are out doing their weekly shop. I know when you are a young student this does seem cool, but give it 10 years and they will realise there are always two sides and maybe look at the poor guy whos house this is

They did finally evict them from that building but they had access over the roof to other buildings in the same block and went a few houses along. Took them them ages to get them out of that block. :)

Bloody professional protestors. Not to worry,these people will never amount to anything and their parents will never be proud of them either. It's a shame as they will never be truly happy without conflict.
