I just found this video as well as your KZbin page. New Subscriber, Btw. Yeah, I can sympathize with you. I grew up in Steubenville, Ohio and now reside in Erie, Pa. When I go back home to visit my remaining family, I get sad to see how a lot of places, from better times, are now gone. Our old mall is practically dead and the Hills Department Store...😥 It's been gone forever. I feel the "technology" in the 21st century helped push this change even further.

Matt, just watched your trip to Butler and through I'd sub to your channel!! Cool stuff, the Butler trip blew my mind!! Lots of stuff that came out when I was @ Slippery Rock so Im interested in mostly 60s and 70s stuff, but largely Silver /Bronze comics I'd love to locate the Hot Wheels Batmobiles... they never show....!!Thanks for the show on John & Giant Man... also VERY Cool!!

Great pickups! I love how our collections evolve. My new rule is if I think it’s cool and I have space to display it, I’m in. Also, VHSCrypt brought the heat.

Truth right there! The biggest hurdle is allowing yourself to evolve. Get rid of some things, get new things. Change is constant. And yes, Crypt always has killer stuff!

I'm sure it's my brain picking up pattern recognition but barnyard commando's? I'm a new collector, I just started collecting them and all of a sudden I see videos showing them off. Cool design, perfect late 80's early 90's toys with hard to find grails. I'm weirdly vehicle complete minus a few heli and bomber accessories three (have either weapon or animal for all 3 that I'm missing and extras) away from series 1 and 2 deep into series 2. It's a cool line and shows off and fits well in my collection. I have mixed into Bucky O'hare and Gross-out as a sort of link between the two. Only commenting because right after i bought Mad scientist dissect an alien I saw you buy one at a toy store I was thinking about going to. It's cool to see those boglins too,
@ReeYeesRetroToys10 күн бұрын
Cool to hear you are also a fan of Barnyard Commandos! They didn’t quite hit back in the day, but now I definitely appreciate the fun and design of the line. And even some of the series 2 figures are relatively reasonable compared to some other rare toy lines.

tfw when u get lost in all the vintage goodness then see ppl walk in and have to dash back to your stall to sell toys, lol. That was a nice Hsll of Justice! I say “was” coz I’m assuming it sold. Pretty cool Star Wars bike. Couldn’t ride that in my hometown back in the day - you’d get bashed, haha. BMX or die! Keen for your vendor video. Thinking about setting up a local con to move some stuff. Any tips would be much appreciated!
@ReeYeesRetroToys10 күн бұрын
My first and foremost tip for vendors: fair & reasonable prices. Be willing to negotiate and bundle! Also, be FRIENDLY! Enjoy yourself and talk to people who are also willing to stop & swap stories.

If you like real flea markets with old and new stuff and great food--try the Green Dragon in the Amish country. Really large, partially indoors with trains, books, leather goods, Amish meats, jams, pickles, and outdoor items, and toys from all eras. I think only open on Sundays once or twice a month. Well worth the drive from your location. Just saying.🥸

Oh, this brought back fond memories! “Trash n Treasure” is what we call flea markets. Held every Sunday at the local drive-in. It was huge - vendors would take up the whole lot. Half bric a brac, half food/fresh produce. We’d often see a movie on Saturday night then come back Sunday morning to grab a bargain, haha. Sausage sizzle for the win! Pretty much all gone now. Especially with the demise of the drive-in. The last one in my city shut down two years ago. Still a few little markets around. But nothing on the scale of the old Trash n Treasures… P.S. Who was the blonde old mate was talking about? Marilyn Monroe? Suzanne Somers? Farrah Fawcett? Bo Derek? Pamela Anderson?😆

Great video. I’m glad you got to browse my table. I’m the guy who makes all the toys in the back room. I do all the 3d modeling, 3d printing and hand paint each figure. Just wanted to say thanks for including me in the video. Too bad I was away from my table handing out custom figures as gifts to all the guest. I’m a fan of your videos, toy hunt videos give me ideas for new things to make, or show me things that never were made into toys and I try to fill that void for people.
