I always love seeing you guys do a video about a game I am interested in.. you're not only (and probably) the most attractive boardgaming couple out there (doing youtube videos), but your voices are so smooth and nice to listen to (which is even more important, to be honest..)! ;) so, let's see if I am going to back this one, will cost me around 165€ in total, so I need to be certain for this.. :D

Great playthrough! It was an instant back for me. I can understand Anthony's headache with learning a new Lacerda game. I was almost broken after learning Weather Machine. This looks so much easier to learn and teach. Oh, and yes, I can see Frances looking lovely in a black Flapper dress and Anthony looking dapper in a gold Zoot Suit with a nice Gatsby panama fedora hat! 😎Halloween's coming. Thanks for the smiles and the expert gameplay.

We've played twice now, both times a three player game. Each play though took just at 3 hours to play. This game can move quick, if there are a lot of reputation boosts. But really slows down if players are sliding back on reputation. It's a very pretty game, and good idea. But we put a cap to end the game at 9 reputation instead of 12. That seems to help, shaves about an hour off.

The only Lacerda game that I have gotten to play in person is Kanban EV and it has stayed at the top of my wishlist. Most of these games are FAR more complex than any of my friends will be willing to play - and the price point kinda hurts for something I'll only play solo. But I will own one or more Lacerda games soon! Thank you for a great playthrough. :)

Always enjoy your videos.... Understand you really liked this game, but how would you compare this game to some of his others, for example, "On Mars"? Both from a difficulty to play and enjoyment? Given that it's brand new - but where would it rank for you both? More specifically - if I was thinking about getting this game or "On Mars" - what would be your recommendation?

The board game does seem to be a faithful creation of the video game and it seems to be well done, which is a rarity. Most board game recreations are horrible, but it doesn’t seem to be the case here.

Hey guys. Great video, I had a question about an action in around minute 52. When you reveal a monster action card, do you immediately replace it? Even if it's the end or turn or another action coused it to flip over, I'm asking in case if you're gonna reveal 2 cards. If it was replaced immediately. Would it possibly trigger a third card to be revealed?
@AntLabGames6 күн бұрын
I believe you reveal the behavior card and resolve it, then reveal any rampage cards and resolve them. Then replace the cards. Next, reveal any other previously triggered behavior cards if applicable.

Fun to see you guys play this one. Glad you liked it. Yeah the rules are little wonky. The clarifications (and helps with new kickstater should help with that) and rewritten rule book on bgg is nice. Just a few things i noticed while skipping through the video are a few rules forgotten or misplayed (for better or worse). Spell and specialty damage ignore shields. Unless specified there is a Range penalty attacking back row. You alluded in intro, but kept using or decided on cards after attack roll (which can't be done, no extra shield after damage dealt to mitigate). A.I. unit attack decisions at end (azure went after a weak unit when stronger was still/ closer). Game is pretty straightforward, but does take a bit to get used to the little things. Definitely not a super complex Lacereda game (which i also like), but no Azure/Azul either ;). Good video though. Good nostalgia fantasy game.

In your other videos where you received the game to review, the tag is not present and "Review copy provided by the publisher" is written. Why is this one different? Just one small point - and I don't say this out of criticism - just trying to help. Terminology is very important in this game. You said the word "Vulnerable" when talking about the red sectors. Be careful with that - Vulnerable is a term used in the game for something else. Red sectors are "Exposed". A lot of videos I've watched say "Monster can only take damage from the red sectors", this is not true - it CAN take damage from a red sector through all sorts of means. The only rule about Red Sectors is that "Red cards (Attack cards) can only be played in Red Sectors". Hope that helps. The game is a lot of fun, but we needed multiple games before it started to all click (And... I've not got past the prologue yet!) :)

Been so interested in this one but shied away from it because I heard for some it takes way too long to play and that it's overly complex. Board game reviews are so subjective, some people have a hard time learning the strategy of a game, some people get A.P., some people are disinterested which makes the rest of the table have a less than stellar time. It's not possible to get an "objective" view of a game since humans are much more diverse than that bahaha. Thanks for the video, been watching more of you guys. Love the down to earth homey vibes.

But I'm glad I got the game.) Thanks a lot again !!! And I wish you many other beautiful experiences ....🖖😀
