Nice video but several small errors I noticed.When you get the three (3) alliance symbol you missed to get that advantage token discussed way earlier in teh game. When you get armies is it not all of them goes into one area, no option to put one in each etc? Taking two extra turns after your regular turns seesm way to poweful but might be correct? I really like 7 Wonders Duel with the Pantheon expansion so this is very much a game for me (liking Lord of the Rings too) :)

This arrived with me last week. It looks great.

Always thought that its pretty hard to win with rings and just thought why bother focusing on it; guess I was wrong.

I feel like frances was ahead and on top of her game with the strategy but she didnt optimize for victory points. Like the awards, i had my eye on the temperature one since the beginning but she wasnt focused on the vps even though they are what determines if you win. I think she was ahead over all but didnt focus enough on what counted the most points

Good game, loved the zoom in, but you made some errors. 1. You can't split military units its all in one or the other. 2. The 3 cards not in play each age move to discard pile.

Fun game. I just played it on the weekend for the first time. Just an FYI, according to the rules, when you take a Red card, you must choose ONE of the regions to place ALL of the units. You may not split them up as Anthony did at 28:00 & 38:43. Great play through!

I don't think Frances should have won that game. As per the rules (and confirmed by Bauza on BGG) you only get one extra turn, not two. Those don't overstack!

I think you make a mistake, please correct me if I am wrong but in the minute 28:27 you did a snap and took 2 more cards from the deck (like the regular 3 cards) but I believe that when you snap you just that. I mean you have to choose between take 3 cards from the deck a discard 1 or snap (just take 1 card and that’s it).. Rules page 9 :)

Can’t support this company. Two BIG reasons, 1. Prices are ridiculous. 2. lacerda actually wrote me once to request I remove a negative review on bgg. Absolutely NOT acceptable behaviour from a designer. I guarantee if this was more public knowledge, he would not be held in high regard.

At 47:26 he made an error and should get 1 Point, so both got at the end scoring 37 points. You first take the card and put it to your latern area and then trigger the light effect from the new card, that means the latern bonus with that one point. If there is a tie, whoever is higher in the order of turns wins. So she would win anyway.

In the end scoring with the mines, she was right by the tiebreaker, but it doesnt matter in a 2 player games, if each get 2 or 4 points. *Page 17* Players tied for a place get the *full value* of the place. For example, if two players are tied for second and third, they both get full points for second, but no one gets points for third.

Thanks for the playthrough. I decided to back Speakeasy today, my 5th Lacerda. I agree it is a return to form with great theme. There were a few rules mistakes. Associates cannot participate in attacking rum runner ships. Operations card decks are all face up, so you can see what you are picking. Paying an operations card is NOT optional when going to the Restaurant. Starting mobster speakeasies come with city tiles.

btw. long time ago i played the 2nd edition, but i remember the first turn Page 5 Special Case: It is possible that your cube was already sitting on the lead Action tile. Even in this case, you need to move the wheel. You will need to take the Action tile out of the track and move the wheel in the direction of the arrow one step. This can only happen to the starting player and only on their very first turn. P.S. Your first ship from blue player counted the blue ribbon wrong. but anyway that would only be 1 point difference at the end game.

antlab, your playerboards slightly wrong assembled. at 11:47 on the blue playerboard, where the 4 coins laying, near the blue small wooden ship, there is RED color on blue playerboard. Same to the yellow playerboard near the yellow wooden ship, there is a WHITE color assembled on yellow board. I think many people did it wrong (we too). We carefully removed and fixed it, because after you knew this, you couldnt ignore it anymore 🙂
