I noticed on the review when testing the USB output in off position I did not see if the capacitors were drained to 0(zero) . On some of my inverters the capacitors continue to output power even when switched in the off position. They will run the lights on my power strip for a while after shutoff.

Great to see you doing a 24 volt inverter test. I did buy the 2,000 watt MFUZOP. It works as you said it would and unlike my old inverter, it plays videos from KZbin. My setup is small but I will be upgrading to a 100ah Lifepo4 battery and add more later. However, I do have a 1,800 watt Natures Generator which powers the internet and TV in the front room. I am thinking on replacing the two 100 watt solar panels for one 200 watt solar panel. I am thinking of adding the two to my small set up to power the new batteries and inverter. If I had more space and bigger budget, I would rather have a 24 volt system since it uses 2 awg gauge wire and more efficient than a 12 volt system.

Good review. I just bought their 1500 watt model. I try not to run anything more than 80% of its rated capacity. Wonder if there is a duty cycle on these units?
@Matthews_Reviews
@Matthews_Reviews 7 күн бұрын
To be honest I'm not real sure about a duty cycle but I can tell you I am running a 12,000 btu Midea U shaped window AC unit on a 2000 watt inverter for many hours a day and it just seems to keep on ticking. I would think 75 or 80% of rated capacity should keep it comfortable as long as the components are not overheating and the cables are sized correctly. I run the crap out of my inverters and I've yet to have any problems so far. Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe. Have a great night!

I purchased this about a month ago works well. In my opinion there's two improvements that could be made. 1) the pocket should be on the outside can't really put much in it because it won't close well. 2) The charging cord could be longer, I'm a ham radio operator and like to charge while I'm working my radio in the field. One more thing, for some reason my panels charging unit is mounted inside the pocket makes it a little difficult to plug things in my plan's and to remove the pocket it's just in my way. Thanks for the video

Great review. I thought I would have gone for the 2000 watt TYCORUN inverter but this one would work better with the 165 ah battery system with the three 100 watt solar panels I have. I've never used an EG4 before so I can't really give you a detailed explanation. I like building my own portable power stations just simply because if something goes bad I can replace it. If I want to upgrade its capacity just get another battery. For me this is as simple as it gets. Plus since it's on wheels and a cart I could be mobile with it if I had to. Good idea about the sealed fuse holder, gasoline fumes and propane also are heavier than air and scoot around the floor looking for a spark. About the plywood backer board Matt, after a storm here in Florida people just throw out all the new plywood that they bought to shutter up windows, then I go around and pick up as many as I can to use around the house. Hello Sir, thank you for your video. I just bought that exact power inverter; I have two questions. 1) would you use a fuse or circuit breaker between the inverter and battery, if so, how many amps. 2) what did you plug the little ground wire to after you attach it to the inverter? Thank you.
@Matthews_Reviews
@Matthews_Reviews Ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! The fuse between battery and inverter needs to be mounted directly on the battery or as close to the battery as you can get it because the fuse protects your wiring from over heating and causing a fire. As far as size of fuse I would google it because it will vary depending on your size of inverter and how many amps it uses. As far as the Ground wire it depends where you are mounting the inverter. If its in an RV/Automobile mount it to the chassis. If it's outside or in a house you can mount it to a grounding rod. Again there is many ways to do it but I leave mine ungrounded for my test. Hope this helps, please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE it really helps me out by getting my videos out on KZbin. Thank you! I would guess they are made at the same factory but made differently to order per each brand. You could open them up and see what they look like. If the board components are identical and have the same main setup, it is most likely made by the same factory. Lots of things are done that way.

The UF-8 rating for AWG 6 power cable is at a temperature of 140F at 55 amps and 167F at 65 amps (USE). So some heat is acceptable and safe, larger cable is better and wastes less energy. All rated power cable will handle this. I personally use the UF-8 ratings as my absolute safety limit for maximum load.
