I love designing and would choose if any day over academics but I would also like to try getting into the Presidential Scholars program since I have a good academic standing and have participated in a lot of leadership based clubs in highschool

Hello, for the fabric swatches, do we REALLY need to get 2x2 swatches of the fabric? or can we just take a picture of it and crop it to 2x2 and print it out. Also in the 4-9 original images, can we input a mood board before the actual fashion sketches? or do you just need to write the inspiration in the description?

Hello please help! Im tryna do my portfolio its due in 2 days fml. So for the third project, would it be possible to incorporate my design sketches into the image? I was thinking of doing a collage of the garment being modeled and inserting my sketches along side it. I think my design sketches help show i put in a lot of work to bring that design to life, so id like to incorporate that into my submission but i would not if it goes against what the instructions ask for, it did not say u could not do this but i did notice i hadnt seen anyone use their design sketches in project 3. And lastly project 1s instruction has been modified,its the same but they added "imagine you are designing 5 pieces" i take it that my main focus is to design a top jacket skirt pant and show the front and back, but anything extra i add to the outfit is not going to be looked at. Id suppose id make the shoes on my model minimal and avoid over accessorizing? I was really tempted to design a bag but i started going overboard with my bag design on project one; which im getting at would not be appreciated anyhow bc its not a requirement in project 1. Should i just scrap this extraneous design? Sorry for the loooong comment! And thank you in advance your video is super informational!

Coz im from Sweden and I wanna apply to FIT and also how can students apply from abroad? 3) where can I find all the questions and tasks for the fashion design major that we need to do in order to get in? 2) does FIT give scholarship to international students? 3) Do we have to give an interview in person before we get in coz I don't live in new york so do I have to travel over there just to give an interview in person in order to get in? 4) do they send acceptance email if we do get in? And how to send all the money? 5) I took Arts stream for my 11th and 12th grade ( which had subjects like geography, English, history, political science, fine arts, multimedia and fashion designing) so I didn't have math and I wanna apply to go to FIT next year so I will have to give my SAT exam and since I didn't have math, my scores in SAT for math and science probably won't be good so will I still have chances to get in FIT even if my SAT exam score is low? FINALYY SOMEONE SHOWS WHAT THE INSIDE OF FIT LOOKS LIKE. Why is it so secretive? There are litteraly no campus tours of fit? And it does look a little outdated will the be renovating the rest of the buildings when they build the new one. You know like update them?

1) the transcript that you submit during your suny application, is it the same as the one that you submit during your FIT application? 2) when i apply, do i have to apply all at once or can i take it in steps and spread it over a long period of time? ( I am from the uk and my gcse results come out late august this year, but i will be writing my SATs early october this same year.). 3) I've started writing my essay, but now i feel a writers block coming smh.
