Some metal band needs to sample this monstrosity for an eerie interlude track or song intro, it would fit really well with some industrial noises and glitchy electronic shit a la early Slipknot. Sounds almost like it's groaning in pain

Each note like a shaft of light in the dark.. as the chords are formed it grows stronger... when that higher pitch hits.. floating above the fog-horn, air-raid-like drone... my g-d! One of the most beautiful, somber wails.. like it's coming from the very soul of humanity. One of my all-time favourite pieces.

Listening it with eyes closed it feels like im hearing and witnessing the earth moving in slow motion towards me.

I'm glad I watched this again. The first time my speaker was acting up and I was not getting much but the overtones. I definitely suggest using your better speakers if available. I have neurological hypersensitivity and think this could be great as part of a sleep sounds track. 🙂👍

people who don't appreciate this sound should read some Lovecraft while listening.

Octobass has a beautiful sound. Sadly this "composition" doesn't show it. It's like bowing a violin on it's highest note and calling it "music". Those idiotic compositions are the reason this instrument is laugh at. The octobass deserves better.
