Lived here for 35 years and I would never want to live anywhere else. People are friendly, scenery is great and we have a town with lots of individual shops. If you love walking then this is the place for you. Very dog friendly as well.

I can’t tell you this, as someone who lives in Abergavenny. It’s not the best place to lI’ve, and it could be better. However, compared to other towns it’s better.

In the UK ?, sorry I don't think so there are far more desirable places than this, a very one sided video, to me this looks like suburban purgatory and a but too busy not into commuter towns. Would rather be in the country.

Yes it all looks very nice. I moved to Harpenden with my parents when I was 5, it took around 35 years to escape although my parents remain there. For me to describe Harpenden would be how I would describe many places in the South East, dull, soulless suburbia and whilst house prices in Harpenden may suggest an exclusivity, in my view there are plenty of other similar places in the area if you do not need to be on the train line straight into London. If you are in the South East and partial to a coffee morning or a browse around a boutique store to break up the monotony of your day then Harpenden is the place for you. My family and I only visit the place once a year for a few days; and that is more than enough. Desirable? for me, I couldn't think of anything worse than returning there to live.

I have seen from a distance and assumed it was a sham castle. But it is medieval but extensively altered to make it a country house

I went to Hitchin boys school and found the atmosphere to be very toxic. Hopefully it's better these days but for me that tainted my experience of living in Hitchin and one of the reasons I moved away.

This is the worse place on earth to live, it may look nice but behind their fakeness is deceitfulness, falsehoods and physical violence and torture towards disabled, vulnerable and mentally unwell people, where none of their victims get any support, help or legal representing, Welsh police turn a blind eye on all physical attacks even stabbings and rapes.
