Great to know more about sri B.Rajanikantharao sir s amazing creativity .while he was in AIR Bangalore he composed songs in kannada,the tunes which are still ringing in my ears.ಏನು ಮಾತೋ ಇದು sung by Vani Jayaram, ಆಶಾ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಸಖಿ sung by Voleti Venkateswarulu and ಇದಿರು ನೋಡಲಿದು ಆಶಾ sung by Shantha jayatheertha . Thanks to MMA for bringing out this beautiful lec dem.

I have heard many conversations among the Rasikhas as how great musicians like MDR, Madurai Somu and such great musicians were left out from the conferment of Sangita Kalanidhi . But in the history of the Music Academy for the first time the Academy is questioned by almost all sections of the Rasikas as to why such a person who openly spoke against the tradition of the glorious music is chosen for the award. The committee has to introspect. This committee has lowered the prestige of the Award and the impeccable tradition built over several years by many illustrious stalwarts .
