But we actually should be bothered by certain circumstances, and people, and policies. Right? We shouldn't wander around ignoring injustices, etc. like we're not effected by these things. We can't, in a sense, hide our heads in the sand, so to speak. The challenge is how to balance the way we react to these various situations, not disengage from them. That's irresponsible, even harmful. Numbing ourselves to what's going on around us is not a solution, but a big problem. Equiminity is good, but it's not a good thing if we turn away from actively opposing injustice. It's a tricky balance.

This video is truly meaningful and deeply inspiring! The Buddhist principles shared not only help us maintain inner peace but also open up new perspectives on life, especially during challenging times. Each principle is very practical and easy to apply in daily life. Personally, I found the principle of letting go and trusting the flow of life to be incredibly profound. Accepting reality has brought me so much relief and peace. How about you? Which principle from this video resonated with you the most? Feel free to share your thoughts so we can learn from each other and spread positivity together! 🙏💖"

What we really need is a methodology to deal positively with the emotions engendered in us by just being living mammals. I don't care to be a Buddhist zombie.

16:18 The way you explained comparison and 'mudita'-finding joy in others' happiness-is absolutely transformative! Imagine how much lighter life would feel without constantly comparing ourselves. Anyone else inspired to try this practice?

15:16 I really love the part about building self-worth from within and not depending on external opinions. The image of a boat on the ocean, where our confidence isn’t tossed around by others’ judgments, really resonated with me. Sometimes, just remembering this is enough to bring peace. 🌊⛵

I find 2 most valuable learning points from the story. 1/ Mastering the Mind is Key to Resilience: Buddhism teaches that true strength comes from understanding and managing our inner world. By observing our thoughts and emotions without judgment, particularly through meditation, we can detach from negativity and choose our responses rather than reacting impulsively. 2/ Resilience is Cultivated Through Practice: An unshakeable mind isn't innate; it's developed through consistent effort. Practices like mindfulness, reframing fears, embracing discomfort, mental discipline, self-belief, learning from failures, cultivating positivity, gratitude, and lifelong learning are all highlighted as ways to strengthen the mind and build resilience. Much thanks to your kind sharing!

People are programmed robot slaves of the system thinking happyness starts with extern factors like status, money, material things, looks, lust that means nothing and its relativ and an illusion create by society. If your happyness depend on extern factors, you will never be happy because extern factors are endless. Thats why a lot of people buy stuff or look a certain way to create an illusion for the outside world out of emptyness. Happyness starts inside you. The more people around you, the more expectations, talk about others, lying, frustrations, negativity, jealousy, double standards, own benefits, hate, judge, comparing etc..... reflection of their broken souls. Alone or in solitude you have more strength, peace, power, happyness, freedom and time to reflect and work on yourself in the here and now where the magic happens. No, not feeling superior or better then others but more be carefully and aware. Be the light in your own life.

Insults are whispers in the air, Echoes that fade, if we don’t care. Offenses, like shadows, shift and sway, But lose their strength when we turn away. They have no fire, no burning flame, Unless we stoke them, place the blame. Words may sting, but they can't take What we don't offer, what we forsake. A blade is sharp, but dulls with time, If we don’t let it cut or climb. Offenses fall when hearts are still, For power’s found in choice, not will. So, cast aside the weight they bring, And let your spirit, free, take wing. The words of others, harsh or vile, Are shadows passing, for a while. True strength lies in the power to choose, To rise above, to not abuse The venom that the world may spew- For insults only hurt if YOU let them through.
