*Jehová es tu guardador; Jehová es tu sombra a tu mano derecha. El sol no te fatigará de día, Ni la luna de noche. Jehová te guardará de todo mal; El guardará tu alma*. (Salmos 121: 5-7) Dios es nuestro protector, pero el canto de David presentado en el Salmo 121 presenta también al Señor como nuestro guardador. «Ni se dormirá el que te guarda» (v. 3b). Muchos niños pequeños sienten miedo en la oscuridad. Si se despiertan cuando todos los demás están durmiendo, pueden sentirse solos y asustados. Nuestro Dios no necesita dormir; Él está siempre alerta y atento a nuestro clamor, aunque nuestros sentimientos nos digan lo contrario. «Jehová es tu guardador… El guardará tu alma» (vv. 5, 7). Cuando los padres tienen que dejar a sus hijos, escogen a una persona de confianza para encargarla de su cuidado; se espera que ésta los proteja y alimente. ¡Cuánto más dedicado y capaz es nuestro Padre celestial! Además de preservarnos física y espiritualmente, controla los malos pensamientos, las palabras dañinas y el proceder incorrecto. Su Espíritu Santo da advertencias para protegernos del mal, y también guía para que crezcamos en una dirección agradable a Dios. «Jehová guardará tu salida y tu entrada desde ahora y para siempre» (v. 8). Dios es soberano. Él está con nosotros siempre -protegiendo, señalando el camino y enseñando. Nos acompaña y guía, aun en las tareas pequeñas que parecen insignificantes. Cuando crecemos, muchos sentimos tristeza y un poco de temor al dejar la seguridad del hogar de nuestros padres. Pero nunca dejamos el amor y el cuidado precioso de nuestro Padre celestial. Dios es nuestro guardador, y Él cuida de nosotros mejor que cualquier madre o padre terrenales. Señor, guardas mi alma de la tristeza, las preocupaciones y las angustias, guardas mi cuerpo físico y me brindas salud, porque eres mi guardador y mi cuidador y en Tu infinita misericordia me guías, me acompañas y me proteges del mal. Wow, this is so powerful! Thank you Shawn for this insight into the Joseph/Exodus story and how you answered that question as to why the differences in the two Ten Commandment accounts. Thank you, also, for clarifying, and putting in better light, the hardening of Pharaohs heart in Ex 9:12. So insightful and beautiful. Along with what I also studied into recently, the relation between the plagues and Egyptian gods, this gives me an even fuller picture of the "behind the scenes" story and the Awesomeness of God and His Character. Thank you.

This is Not just good advise, this is applicable for real relationships to flourish healthly as God intended...Great message Pastor's...this message is healing for the soul individually as well as for the body of Christ. If we're broken how can we effectively witness for Jesus?! We cannot...
