If you want to improve the video I would discard the black gloves and the dark background, most of the fine detail is obscured by the gloves, but it’s interesting and informative to watch just very dark.

I've used my doming block and punch set for many , many metal models. It will bend/dome 5 mil metal with ease. The punches are 5 mil less in diameter than the doming block itself to allow for the gap. I have used the punches alone for cleaning up lopsided domes to headlights to plane canopies, just about anything you can imagine. I purchased mine from Harbor Freight and I always keep silica gel packs in the box to prevent rusting

the most frustrating things I've ever done in years! I would loved to finish it but I really couldn't stand it after 3 pieces breaking and spending 2 hours on page 2.

@@shanecuffee7766 I like to think I’ve come a long way haha I have some cool videos coming out this year that I’m pretty excited for and I have an uploaded lately because I got a brand new job as a marketing creator because of this KZbin channel! Crazy times really. Thanks for the thumbs up! I hope you were able to build the DeLorean.. it’s one of my favourite models in my collection. If you’re looking for a more in-depth version, I have the full build too. This is just my fun video :)

I'm so glad I looked this up. Got one coming soon with the Ekranoplan and I know I would've struggled more without this video. Thank you for even pointing out the flaws, if I encounter the same, it'll provide some sanity. Great build!

Wondering if you have tried to build the StarCraft battleship one from the same series. If so, would you have the manual available still?

Hello, I have worked on other metal earth models but I’d like to build a train. However I am intimidated by making the circle bends. I saw those white shafts you used to bend them. I was wondering if it was a kit or just some random stuff you used. Thank you

What is the best metal earth model to start with for a complete beginner?

How does this compare to the hydraflex machete
@GrooveBuildersАй бұрын
Great Question! Personally I liked the Machete for cleaning but when it came to digging the Silencer is better. The machete is plastic on the inside, so heat, dirt and bashing will causes it to wear faster. My machete lasted me about 5 months, Silencer 9. The refresh kit is cheaper then a rebuild kit. On cost alone the silencer is better but again depending on what your doing you might find the machete to be useful. I have a comparison video on Tik Tok you might want to checkout.

Today I finished my ISS but it was a mess! OK, I'm a beginner, so I did some mistakes. I wanted to heal them with a little bit of glue. To harden this I`ve took the whole on the heater (very tiny) in our eating corner. After one hour, it was very silent, nothing else happened, the whole model crashed on the floor. Additional hours to work on it... I think our heater started to work (outside -5 degrees) and the solar-modules were catched by this small upwind. This is crazy

Completely screwed up my build of this thing. Pieces are super small and difficult to hold onto and see.
@BotaBingEntertainsАй бұрын
Would love it if you spoke about the way you actually shape things with your fingers. I’ve built three models now and really find that attacking these models like clay is a huge part of the game and makes it so fun. Really allows you to finesse each build to a perfect fit and shape. Metal earth so much more personal than a traditional model out of plastics. Where as plastic models find their personality in painting these metal builds take on a more personal touch with your actual literal finger touch

What irritates me is that it never says to twist the headlights on part 83. (At least I can't find it) That REALLY confused me! Thanks so much for your videos. The only question now, though, is How did you know to twist them?
@GrooveBuilders2 ай бұрын
@@RandyWrenn your right and I had that in my notes but I guess it didn't make the cut. I looked at the 360 pictures haha It reminded me of the details on the echo 1 so I followed a similar method. definitely a confusing miss in the instructions though.

This was a fun build. The newer painted version of the Millennium falcon was also a pretty fun one. I kinda want to buy another sand crawler and maybe do a second one since I have more builds under my belt and more experience. The current one I’m working on is the uss midway.
