Empty Plots in the city cost more than built houses in Phakalane.

Most people would be surprised that this is new money people and in Gaborone this estate is not seen as the "rich neighborhood" anymore. Most Americans and Europeans can afford these houses on an average salary. Go to neighborhoods outside the city and you'll find the $5Million+ properties.
@keegokabelo15633 күн бұрын
Exactly like I saw this estate in mmankgodi ( something like that) with an average price of 11 mill for a 5 bedroom double story house on 2 hectares

Yeah!Let them ko to Kgale and Mmokolodi.Gnorth is jst a matter of roads. But Golf what wht is considered by the rich rra
@simba86657 сағат бұрын
Well these people are in Botswana not America, making them rich or upper middle class per Botswana standard if they are earning in USD from aboard. You don't have to be a multi-millionaire to be considered rich even here in the US

Everywhere can be luxurious if everyone can individually look after their surroundings, keeping it clean and tidy. I cannot understand a litter/destructive mentality. What a beautiful country we have. Sone places, if restored would make Melrose Arch look entry level.

The town is about as busy as the ghost town called KOLMANSKOP in Namibia ----- albeit peaceful and serene ----- and I am planning on re-locating there --- away from these big cities which is absolutely dangerous and filthy nowadays

I could be moving there for work, my fear is the heat and language barrier. I'm from Durban and we don't speak Afrikaans our temperatures are moderate.

It sounds like a great opportunity! I'm sure you'll enjoy it and maybe learn a bit of Afrikaans. They'll understand if you say you're from Durban 👍🏾.
