I love that i can have three methods for focusing m shooting at the same time: half press for focusing, full press for snap shot (with hyperfocal previously configured) and touch screen for focus and shoot.

It does not lack the variety that’s for sure… just wish the normal half press would work more efficiently at times

You can actually set the function button to focus a different way than the shutter, too. I often have the shutter half press to be single autofocus, and the function button is tracking AF.

To be honest just shooting on the positive preset in the camera and then do whatever I feel like is missing from it in Lightroom. What kind of style you like? Positive is quite much on the yellow style

I just traded in my X-S10 for the 10-year old X-T1, and I am so happy! This 81-year old brain couldn’t comprehend all those blank dials changing depending on the different modes. It drove me crazy!

This is the only thing that prevent me to buy GR III 🥲. Had X100S since launched, RX100m6 for 5 years, no dust issue at all. Other people say this is a common issue. But I don't think so. Hopefully they do something with GR IV.

I own the XS10 and love it. This little Fujifilm camera makes a lot of sense for me. It is small and lightweight. Using the thumb grip helps to make holding the camera more comfortable. Bad news. Was photographing the Pride Parade I had a fall. The camera bounced but still is working. I damaged the screen so I sent it to the factory to be replaced. So sad. This body could have been called the XT40. All Fuji cameras with the old batteries don’t last very long. I bought some extra Wasabi batteries and they are inexpensive . Carrying an extra battery is easy and light. Sorry you haven’t bonded with this camera. Also sorry you haven’t been able to sell it. At least this camera works. The Ricoh GRiiiX is a piece of fecal material. After setting it up it doesn’t take photographs. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

I have actually sold it to some Filipino guy a week later and he was mega happy with it. Quality wise fujifilm photos are always amazing. As for Ricoh, I think you need to give it another chance… I wish I could sit with you and go through the settings to make it work. But… it’s just some cameras work for us some doesn’t.

Anna I just bought a GRiiiX with dust on the sensor. I couldn’t see the dust. Here is how I’m going to deal with it. Vacuum cleaner. Suck the dust off the sensor. Sounds crazy. Who knows? Besides taping the ports, I’m placing a UV filter over the lens. Hope that helps prevents getting more dust. I’m having difficulty setting the camera up. The images are almost black in bright sunset. I’ve tried setting the U1-3 without success. I’ve also tried P mode without success. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

I think you need to switch it to something else from the highlight-weighted exposure metering and try in p to add exposure compensation +1?

I like to think I watch videos to study composition and technique but I will admit that sometimes I watch just because it's an interesting location. And I do watch videos about gear that I own, which isn't really logical. What am I going to do if they say it's crap and I already bought it....

Great summary thanks. I had the 28mm but did not really connect. Now have the 111x and love it. Also have the Urban Edition which has a lovely finish - much nicer than the normal finish.

An APSC sensor and it fits in my shirt pocket. Ricoh is still the only manufacturer who has done that. I don't know about desert island, but if I were marooned in a city with only one camera, it would be my number one pick.
