You are awesome and I truly appreciate you discussing what none of the preachers are talking about! I feel that we all want to hear if we’re closing in on the end….i know only God knows, but it’s obvious what is going on around us right now in this world and it feels like it’s very close. I am so happy and cannot wait to fly high. 🎉

One thing that's not often spoken about is the role of God in the whole mess. Remember: God created Lucifer. Lucifer supposedly "fell" due to pride. Satan wanted to equal or surpass God. Ask yourself: whence did the possibility of evil emerge? Since God contains all possibilities, since nothing falls outside of God (God being unlimited), then logically evil, or the possibility of evil, arose from God. Now if you don't accept that, it doesn't much matter anyway. The point: assuming there is a God that created Lucifer, it was His responsibility to curtail or destroy His creation (turned Satan). The situation can be compared to a parent in relation to a child: if the child causes havoc in a school, the responsibility falls on the parent, even if the parent is not directly to blame. The school, for example, may expel the student. The parent must take whatever steps are necessary to correct the child's behavior and to find another school and, perhaps, a therapist. Yet strangely, we human beings are faulted for succumbing to Satan's wiles and machinations and must endure appalling suffering on account of it. This God, this fiction, supposedly "judges" people, even though God created this Frankenstein-like creature. That's one major problem I have with many orthodox Christians: they don't think logically, or at least are unwilling to revise their positions when one shows them the nonsense they uphold. What's their usual response? God is mysterious.

Thank you for the elaboration, that I should approach the consuming fire, his throne of grace according to His terms and in reference and awe .... He asked me to humble myself before Him in fasting and prayer so as to partner with my saviour in breaking strongholds...for sure His peace is sufficient. Amen

Is the church raptured before the tribulation, taken to heaven for seven years and then returns to earth with Jesus? At the second coming, the church IS NOT with Him, rather angels (Mt. 24:31, 2 Thes. 1:7,8). At that time, they gather together the elect. The “armies” coming with Jesus in Rev. 19:14 are angels, not the church. Angels wear fine linen (Rev. 15:6). So it appears the rapture follows Rev. 19:14, at which time Jesus rewards the saints, not in heaven (Rev. 11:15,18).

I wish the focus was more on Christ, how can I put gaining the grace of God without Jesus? Sola Christus. I'm into this 28 minutes and I hope I'm wrong that his reference to Christ was as a 'Rabbi'...

2020 bit by a tic, gave me lymes discaese and Rocky Mountain fever, 2021 two blood clots, 2022 hit by a drunk driver totaled my truck, 2023 Lolas cancer came back. These were just a few. God was using pain as a megaphone to get my attention. I got baptized, repented and God changed my entire life. Changed my home, vehicle, work, dog, im talking almost everything new as Pastor John is saying. God is real, it was me, I was the one that was moving away from the lord. He got my attention, now I spend about every waking moment telling people what he has done, he is real.
