Thats postwar that southern? Smoking deal it’s prob got old grease limiting the speed. Classic model trains has a really good tear down video for them. I got a Lionel o scale 86’ auto parts boxcar (they are 150 usd new) for 11$ on eBay. Missing a coupler. But an engine for 22$ that’s even better

I think that Flyer Loco. is a 1930s tin 420 repainted. I have a 1931--32 cast brass 420 .

Marx produced the 333 locomotive for the purpose of competing directly with Lionel. It was designed to be a scale model rather than a toy.

Yeah it's a miracle fix if you ask me. I soak most of my nasty rebuild parts as well. Well the ones that won't get destroyed, motor parts ect.v

Allen the motor you have shown will mount to a 259 frame. It needs an extra piece shaped like a Z to mount on a 259e frame. The e unit lever is forward so all you need is that piece.

Thanks my friend I'll try to do a better job . I haven't learned how to edit or splice videos together so it's really hard giving the step by step. For example I've stripped the 259 I'm doing and doing some body work on the tin that I'd love to document but just don't know where to start. Any suggestions on an easy editing platform.

Did you check the pickups bend the one down alittle more so it has real good contact with track since other side is missing pickup wheel

The side view did not help. The lettering looked top notch and you skipped over it. You got the painting down pat! Before and after shots always add a good dimension to your work.

Hi again David. I just purchased the standard guage Lionel Hiawatha coaches. I'd like too see how they look together. I have at least 25 or 30 modern diesel locomotives I'm honestly more into steam. Let me think on it. What is the 390E worth in that condition so I have a idea. I've wanted that 390E for so long but never knew it was only made in standard guage. I have bought track and just recently a lionel V 250 watt transformer for the higher voltage for the standard engines. Im still deciding if I'm starting collecting that guage too. Im looking at buying a 3700 sq ft home on lake Huron and if it goes through I'll probably build a standard guage layout too. Oh and I also just picked up a lionel 8 that needs restored . So I'm still undecided.

Hi I really have wanted quite a few steam locomotives, a great northern with the Vanderbilt type tender either 4-8-4 one or articulated. I would love a s1 , the prr q 2, the Yellowstone, a mth proto 2 t1, triplexes, and there's a really cool new York Central in green MTH made I think it has the letter H in its name . Im open to any nice modern steam release that you'd be offering I just wanted to wait to see if you'd be interested in these really awesome std gusge Hiawatha coaches im waiting on. They look amazing never run, with chrome portal windows, I'll send you pictures soon as I get them.
