@itcamefromabox do you have any recommendations for any joy cons with hall effect joysticks that arent mechanical? I was looking at the doyoky lumos i think theyre called but they also have a click to them as well. And just a general question, is there any benefit to mechanical switches? Are they made to last longer/be more durable than the normal buttons or is it just an aestetic thing?

No because the port is now on the strap that is also smaller than the quest 2s

To your question the bag you talk about the zipper got stuck and ripped on me, the glasses you talk about my friends and I sent back because the corners of the screen cut off and they feel like you always have to look up to see the screen, any those nykon controllers feel like a 12 year old 3d printed them. But I apologize seriously if I offended you I really do I was just trying to get a feel for you from your fans I don’t know you so I was just trying to put out feelers to see if your cool or not. @@joepop25 Not saying you called me a liar! Just felt implied with what you said. As for the bag, you mean the saya carry? If so, i've been using it for the last month and haven't had that issue. they're ykk zippers and for the video I was slamming them open a lot to see if the seem would burst open but they held up well so far. As for the glasses, I have a lot of these and the Viture ones are much better than some of the others imo but FOV is difficult to get perfect for each person. Did you try diff nose pads and pinching the metal clips so they're at the right height? The hardest thing for me to figure out was that they need to sorta float in front of your eyes and not touch your brow! As for the Nyko Dualies, I didn't buy them because the reviews were so bad but then I randomly did to test out and they were nowhere near as bad as what I read and at the price I found 'em, I thought they were worth sharing! And no offense at all, years back I made the choice to call out both pros and cons and let viewers decide whether they want to pull the trigger on it. Sometimes I can live with a con such as the pro controllers d-pad while others will avoid it completely because of it! I also try not to bash products if possible (unless its scammy stuff like some of the earlier third party docks) because some of these companies are on the right track but need feedback to help make them better. You can see that with companies like Satisfye, 8bitdo and Genki who's stuff kept getting better with time! On top of that, i'm sure I won't always get it right but I at least want people to get an idea of what's out there, even if it's just to watch for entertainment purposes! lol I make these videos because I like this stuff and to keep making them and to try to avoid asking for funds upfront, I use affiliate links. This is extremely common with a majority of people that make videos about products. I also mention it on just about every one of our videos and I also have a disclaimer. You can't honestly think that I can just afford to do this for years without funding it 🤣

tbh most of these are priced to compete with tv's/monitors! the good news is that these do drop in price pretty quickly since there's new ones out almost yearly!

Yeah, this is my favorite way to store 'em! The silicone ones are secure and easy to eject! But as a kid who grew up in LA in the 90's, i'm always afraid of getting it stolen lollll

I'd go with either one with 4 back buttons that you can remap those facebuttons with the dpad buttons or a remappable controller. Just about any that's compatible with the Switchs' remappable settings would work. This way he can swap out the dpad buttons for the normal face buttons :O Sadly I can't think of any which reverse the normal controller layout :[ But that'd be an incredible option!
