Hello thank you :) ... Keep your eye on engine oil level, its hard to do, behind that exhaust. But they take a little bit of oil and the amount in the engine is not huge :)

Just got mine yesterday! Already went for a couple rides. Im loving it, even did a little offroad. Need to take it to the mechanic to change the fork seals tho, its leaking pretty bad. The owner gave me the seals for replacement (in the package, unopened) so I can just give that to the mechanic and save couple euros so thats pretty cool. Looking forward to making some trips through my country on it.

Hello, Yes it did :) I did a loooot of flushing of the whole system with detergent . And then sold the bike and never heard from the owner :)

Good man!! Planning to fix ventilation on mine...only works 4th speed. Almost certain it's a resistor this van in all varints is basically a fiat and these green resistors die often. But since illumination of buttons doesn't work I will open the console anyway, could you just tell me where the lightbulbs are located and which type are they? Thank you!

Hello, those are simple bikes to work on :) fuel pump contacts needs to be changed some time. But i dont know of any common issues :)

Hey dude! For my ES, I'm fixing absolutely everything as it will be my personal car when I'm done. For your flip, I would fix the safety stuff and send it. I'm not familiar with what you have available over there. Over here, we have breaker yards where you can pull your own parts off junk for cheap. I would do that for the rack and probably the strut and spring as well.. Brakes didn't look too bad but if you have inspections to pass that may be more important that over here. Is the steering looseness internal to the rack or could it possibly be just loose in its brackets? A couple used tires also if the rears were good. Unless the timing belt looks cracked up, I wouldn't do that for a flip either. Good luck! (My ES was also a girl's car so it also smells nice. 🙂)

Keep the tyres just rotate them. Keep the rotors, buy cheap pads. Used spring, used steering rack. Are they expensive over there ? If you can get under the car then you should bem able to swap the steering rack.

Hello, Thank you for you comment :) Tires i will rotate. I got cheap brake pads and rotors coming. I thoung the rack can by fix with bushing but not ... so i have that new coming also. And also i ordered timing belt kit so the new owner will have i serviced. Probably will lose money but it is what it is :D

You can download service manual, these bikes are easy to work on :) most of the conectors is under the tank in their holder and they just fit one way :)

@@Prihoda15 hey man just want to ask for your opinion bout this, my xr has a leak on the head this one I know I need to change the gasket righ, now it's also the same on the spark plugs but there's no smoke comin out of the exhaust. Do I need to change only the spark plugs or change it al the way down to the piston rings and valve seals.

Hello, i am not a VAT tax payer so i dont know. Usually you have to pay with the VAT then you will get the VAT back when you proof that the car is registred elswhere. I can help you source and export cars in Czech republic if you want.

Hi, German title (documents) to vehicles are "ZB1 and ZB2". They are still in the name of the previous owner. But they are unregistered and can by registered in EU. For non EU you have to check with your rules.

Do an engine rebuild that way you are teaching too less engineering followers. I gave the same bike and would encourage you all the way,especially after the last 4 episodes, i even bought a rear sprocket cover from you a couple of weeks ago.please carry on.

Hi pal, I'm about to fix my dragstar. It has faulty carburetor. The rod set screw snaped and fell off. Can't take it out anymore so I decided to change it. But here in the UK the particular carb is not anymore on the market. So I decided to change it with yamaha XV 125 virago carb wich is the most similar carb that is on the market. It's a bit different but should fit no probs. But it does'nt have tps cable. Do you think is it problem?

Hi :) if the bore diameter that go in to the intake is same , it will work. Also i have the orher carb from this bike for sale. It needs acc. pump and float hight adjusted.

Hi, I'm having troubles with my Yamaha xvs 125 Dragstar Carburetor. Need him to replace. By the research Virago and dragstar supposed to have same carburetor ( Mikuni BDS 26 ) but this original one is not anymore on the market. There are some options to buy some other replacements but in all cases it says it only fit to the virago 125/250. So now I'm not sure If I can try to use this one or rather not. Original bds 26 comes with some sort of cable with 3 pin slot that supposed to be connected with the bike but there new replacements does'nt have it. Would that be a problem? Thanks a lot for any advice

You _can_ get raw gasket material and just cut a fresh one yourself. Works out a whooooole lot cheaper 😉

You've gone to the trouble of gettin' the whole thing a-part, may as well replace all the little wearables (piston rings, rod bearings, seals, etc.). Got to run the engine in again, but then it's literally good as new.
