Never should have blown that 3-1 series lead to SF. We should have repeated in 2012. Oh well. Sigh.

around 1984-85 record companies started demanding money for their artists songs to be used in videos like this. this probably one of last sports highlight videos using copyrighted songs without asking permission.

Ted Simmons finished in the top 10 in either batting average, OBP, or OPS 15 times. The next best HOF catcher 9, the 3rd best 6. Guy is one of the greatest catchers. Ever. Imagine these stats if he had been a Yankee. Guy deserves far more gravitas than he has.

Wasn’t one of Vin Scully’s best games. 1st of all, no ground ball has Ever “eaten” Ozzie up. 2nd, when the fair ball goes into the stands on a bounce, it’s called a ground rule double Vin. With that said, kudos to Vin Scully for owning his mistake.

Vin Scully making a terrible mistake during game about fan interference on ball that bounced up and over wall into the stands. Shocking but he was younger and less knowledgeable in 1987. He didn’t even know that at the top off the wall they had a wire basket built to make it easier to rule on that type of play. 😂😂😂

The Cardinals are a team that has experienced a lot of missed opportunities. The 1968 team would've made the playoffs if the Cardinals hadn't tied the Steelers. Finished a half-game behind the Browns who they beaten both times that season. I hope that the Cardinals can win a Super Bowl someday.
