It is so amazing they only had the budget for two scenes of this gorgeous CGI but they managed to stitch it into an entire minute. The result is outstanding.

I watched this with a friend when it came out - neither of us knew what it was other than "crap" ... we got to the 45 minute mark (which is about 30 seconds before this scene begins) and ... if you've not seen the film, those first 30 seconds ARE THE FILM for 45 minutes. We were so bored we skipped forward a couple of minutes to see this - and we were like "what the fuck did we miss in the previous 2 minutes that leads to THIS?!" so we re-wound and ... well, nothing. we didn't miss anything. This bird attack literally comes out of no where, with no explanation. One minute the film is a (very, very bad) romance story, the next minute... all the birds in the world start exploding.
