The guy is a lousy shot...You shoot warning shots in the air, not toward the animal. The mountain lion most likely wanted him to leave the area, I seriously doubt it wanted him for lunch.

Great information! I own a small 40 acre tract in Dallas County that boarders the Talladega National forest in Dallas and Chilton Counties. I have been working hard with my limited resources to enhance the habitat for turkey and deer although turkeys are my passion. I would love to partner up when this part of the National Forest is being burned or any type of habitat improvement on a state or national level is going on in my part of the world.
