I'm not coming from a Four Job Fiesta perspective, but one of my favorite things about this game is that almost every job has some sort legitimate use case. Like, a job might not be any good, but it contributes good stats if you master it, or it's got an ability worth learning.

Link mode existing primarily for the rapid destruction of boxes and pots is poetic. On top of spidering past half the water pillar rooms, you could probably have flying tiled over the pitfall in the entry room. The Zora dungeon relied too much on being underwater. The wood floats / stones sink interaction would have made a good puzzle, but all they asked from you was to push and pull like any other obstacle. Making floating platforms to cross without the flying tile would have been more engaging, but not more entertaining. I thought there would be another Link fight and there just wasn't _anything_ special. Every one of not-Ganon's attacks got interrupted in two hits from ball-and-chain guy. There must be a strat that makes an absolute fool out of him. XD Wait, you don't get Ganon's weapon after that fight? They set it up perfectly "going to use my master's power" and the weapon falling from above like the real thing was being gifted instead of making a copy!

At the risk of being shunned for discussing the animes, Tri got me thinking about Shakugan no Shana. Where people get replaced by fading copies of themselves by beings trying to maintain the integrity of the world. When Tri talks about returning things to normal, it's "our echo power" that fixes things. What if the rifts are what's left of reality and everything else is just a construct of echoes trying to replicate it? That huge body of water and the description of a fish that "charges forward" has me wondering if Zelda can waterski.

3 is fair. 3 doesn’t screw the player over. 1 and 2 are full of bullshit moments. 9 and 10 suck. 4 is great, but it also has some bullshit. 3 is the best followed by 4.

I'l always take a Berserker hitting the backrow for 1200 damage over a Dancer that uses Mystery Waltz for the eighth time in a row. Absolutely nothing is more frustrating.

I so want to argue Fang as an S Tier character, just because when all the roles are unlocked, she has the absolute best kit as a whole. Her only bad role is Medic, and even with that she can throw out Esunas when you need her to. She's like C tier pre-Tier 8 Crystarium, but if you invest in her Ravager role to get her the Fire and Thunder spells right away, it's over. Plus, as a Sentinel, she can skip learning both Vendetta and Entrench, making her the only Sentinel in the game who can only use Steelguard and Mediguard, which are the only Sentinel skills worth anything. Way better than Snow in that role. Best character in XIII, no question.

You should do a video like this only for job classes like the ones in I, III, IV, XII, and XIV.

I don't know about other versions, but in the Pixel Remaster, !Dance is 100% from the back row. This Dancer the highest-output DPS classes from the back row. Plus, if you can get a Lamia's Tiara from the Lamias in the Ronka Ruins, they are good from start to finish, peaking at 9999 usually in Galuf's world. Otherwise, you have to wait until the Phoenix Tower for them to really get good. !Dance is also one of the best synergistic commands. Combine it with a dual wielder or two-hander and let it rip from the back row.

That was nice to see that the "middle ending" (or whatever you call it) was fixed. It drove me crazy in the original version of Simon's Quest that the text to the middle ending looked like it should have been for the bad ending. (And the text to the bad ending reading like it should have been used for the best ending.)

Enjoying the video! Great, well thought out, list! My only major disagreement is with Kain and Yang. Yang is one of those who I thought was cooler when I was a kid but is very limited. Kain, however, whenever he's in the party we're automatically more tankier. Strategically using his jump ability can save the day, solid equipment, best dragoon of all time. Then when considering the After Years version of Kain, that version might be SS. I love the note in the comment about forgetting Orlandu.Daddylandu is hands down best FF character in all of FF!

Yuna A tier is cute but let’s be real she is a beast and even worse on the expert grid. I gave her Lulus spells and she weirdly wound up with way more hp. Kimarhi is also way better in expert. High attack, speed spells and steal/use. Rest of the path is for aurons. Beeeast. But I respect your work. Great job
