Beware the man who thinks himself worthy enough to ASK for a mantel to be placed on him. Mantels like that are never ASKED for. Even the greatest men of God in the Bible felt they were not worthy enough, and begged God to choose someone else more worthy. There’s a great scene in the movie “Gladiator”, where the Godly Empoeror, Marcus Aurelius knows he’s dying and wants to pass his mantel to Maximus (whom he loves as a son). He wanted Maximus to carry out his dying wish, to end the corruption of Rome and give power back to the people. Then he asked Maximus if he would accept such an honor, and Maximus (greatly honored) replied, “With all my heart…No”. Marcus Aurelius looked lovingly into his eyes and said, “Maximus, THAT is why it *must* be YOU. Because the wise Emperor knew that the only man suited for such honor and power, had to be someone who would never seek after it, someone so humble they wouldn’t even want it if it was offered to them. Ultimately, Maximus did take on the mantel and saved Rome. But the cost was his life. Bottom line is that a mantel is not something you ask for. God places them on those he knows can withstand them.

Will you let them know he was an unrepentant sinner? He failed miserably and publicly. He was confronted by other Christian ministers about his public drunkenness and practice of homosexuality. He was buying male prostitutes! Jesus said people deny Him by their deeds and Paul Cain was a wicked man, a deceiver and a false prophet

I heard him speak a couple times at Westminster Chapel in London in the late 1990's. I believe he is a fabulist, his astonishing stories are just products of his absurd imagination. He says in another video that he met with the devil for 3 hrs in Hollywood, CA and saw him leave the building and catch a bus to Pasadena. His teaching is just empty pablum, wild promises and unsubstantiated weird anecdotes. He was later exposed as an alcoholic and a homosexual. A false teacher.
