Very interesting video. It's great to see some of the lesser known coastline. We are from South Wales so got so much to explore in the North. We have a campervan but looking at getting a motorhome or larger van so we can do pub stops. Good to meet you and we have subscribed. Interesting to see the war history! Fascinating lighthouse. A beautiful country and we look forward to venturing further South. We met some lovely people along the way too! The Oggies were huge and delicious! Pub stops and Aires are a great alternatives to campsites, enabling you to get closer to the heart of things and we try to find some lesser known places when we can, as they can often hold lots of little gems and surprises. Wow- I've been there on a sunny Summer's day, and a frosty Winter's day - both amazing experiences- but have never seen the site flooded! My family and I were staying in York once, just before it flooded, and the river was very high. Soon after, most of York was under water. It's scary how quickly the water rises.

Thank you for your lovely comment 😊. It’s our first visit here and there was an awful lot of standing water. There was a lot of snow overnight Friday which quickly thawed over Saturday. We’ve been in York too when it’s flooded, it is scary how quick it rises. Fountains Abbey is a beautiful place and we can’t wait to visit again in the summer. Have a lovely evening 😊

Dogs are not allowed in the castle unfortunately but we just go one at a time 😊 Always play the games given chance. Milo wanted the balls too 🤣. Have a great day ♥️

Shame you didn't also visit "Petwood" hotel, just over the road from where you camped. It was the Squadron HQ for 617 during the war & has loads of memorabilia & even a "Bouncing Bomb". You can still see the "back gate" to it's original grounds at the Kinema. RAF Coningsby, just down the road is home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, which is open to visitors Mon-Thurs, (unfortunately not weekends during to display flights. It is also home to the QRA Typhoons. You get a lot of flying activity here.

We did consider the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, but as you mentioned, we realised it wasn’t open at the weekend…. We are just so impressed that there is so much history in Lincolnshire, and we only live across the river. We will definitely be out exploring more. Have a lovely evening and thank you!

The Kinema in the Woods is a fantastic experience. It has 3 screens & also does outdoor films during the summer months. The original screen, "Cinema 1" has a working Compton cinema organ which gets played at weekends. The leg-room is HUGE, no modern cinema can beat it. Most film showings still get an old-fashioned "intermission" to allow you to grab some very sensibly priced refreshments. Depending on the performance, the whole experience is often less than a tenner, & they have a rewards scheme for frequent visitors. You get all the latest films, National Theatre Live performances, Royal Opera live. We use it a lot.

Even on a wet dull day Scotland is stunning ❤🏴 Love the Highland Cow ❤ Awww Ullapool. Poor Boo was freezing when we went there. We forgot to put her coat on 🙈 We parked up at Tesco too. Ullapool was as far North that we went on the West Coast, next time we want to go higher . Next time we visit Ullapool we're going to the Seafood shack, your food looked delicious ❤ Throughly enjoyed this guys Looking forward to the next one Have a lovely Sunday ❤

It's lovely to hear you have enjoyed our videos. It means a lot to us, thank you! ❤️ Yep, those boots were filled to the top. Only wished the camera had been handy.😆. Moral of the story is never listen to Dave when he says it will be 'ok' 😆 The Seafood Shack is a must. We struggled to make our mind up what to have, but what we had was filling and delicious!! They also have a little gin stall, if you like a little tipple. Scotland is beautiful what ever the weather and the drive was superb, you should do it❤️. Our MH is 7.4m long and we had no issues with the roads or parking. Plenty of passing places. Hope your having a lovely weekend (despite the weather☔ and look forward to your next one.
