I think Danny started the tempo a little fast and threw it off a bit. Danny has always hit it hard and fast, Charlie is a human metronome so I doubt it was him.

Yep, prolly teething problems with it being their first show with him in a very, very long time. After a couple of shows, they'll probably sound much tighter. Danny is such a maverick, and such a brutal bassist, but underrated to. I love his style and sound.

@@linusfotograf Yep, he's like a real shot in the arm for them, pure adrenaline! I love Frankie, but seeing Danny back with Anthrax again, even for just a short time, makes me a bit emotional. He's never craved the limelight, or fame, but he so deserves to be in a headlining band playing to huge crowds, he's a total legend in metal.

@@cbr9914 Yep, he ups the tempo, and they then play the song at Danny's pace. Charlie is such a pro, instead of getting flustered, he immediately adjusted to what he was hearing, and set the tempo accordingly. Awesome drummer he is!

Backing? You know he plays one side, and loops it when he plays the other riff, right?

@@litany21 Yes that's what I mean, his own loops (backing tracks was a dumb way to describe it). I wish they had a second guitarist.

@@fhg8974 I interviewed Jamie some years ago, and asked, and he said, they haven’t been able to find another guitarist they felt comfortable with. I appreciate Michael literally creating the tracks live, at least they’re not pre-recorded

@@litany21 I can completely believe that. Considering what Michael does in the studio is immensely complex as it is, doing it live is even more impressive. Jamie and Michael have been playing together since they were in their late teens..so they are kind of joined at the hip. I remember Jamie coming to my flat in Hamilton in 2000 and jammed with me and Jared (they were just starting out and called Bloodwreath) and afterwards Jamie goes 'he's not as good as Michael' hahaha...I knew 😅

The next year, he started a grindcore band called Misadventures in Self Surgery..they were soooo fucking good. After that, his drumming abilities just took on a whole new level. Jamming at my house back then, he also played guitar better than anyone I had heard...dude played Origin riffs perfectly while gazing out the window lol. Absolute beast.

the guitarist and founder of the band has been the current vocalist since the beginning of the live concerts this year and is doing an excellent job.
