As lovely as this is, the furnishings, while vertainly expensive, are too large and contemporary in scale and design, particularly the upholstered pieces. This home would be perfect if it were furnished in period antiques.

There was a time in my life when this would have been my absolute dream home. But given the state of New York City today, I wouldn't want to live in it if it, even if it were free. NYC has become a dangerous cesspool. I have ZERO desire to travel to NYC ever again. I'm happy in my almost waterfront, three bedroom home in one of the safest, cleanest cities in Florida.
@Fred-vy1hm9 ай бұрын
You're joking right? Florida's the biggest cesspool in the United States and its only gotten worse With Drump, DeSantis and the maga crowd turning it into a state where civil rights went to die. Of course if you hate lgbtq and black people and like book bans and open carry you may just be right at home. Enjoy your near waterfront property while it's still above sea level and not yet the swamp it will soon be with global warming. Cheers from up north. 😊

LMFAOOOO If I could buy this magnificent house I would. fl-a-duh is sinking thanks to rising water levels and a wannabe dick-tator governor who hasn't done a single thing to help anyone but himself! DeathSantis needs to go and never return. He needs to take Do-Nothing Rubio and Corrupt Rick Scott with him. NYC has the best museums, restaurants, stores, parks and pizza!

A hurricane is a tropical storm with winds that have reached a constant speed of 74 miles per hour or more. The eye of a storm is usually 20-30 miles wide and may extend over 400 miles. The dangers of a storm include torrential rains, high winds and storm surges.

Have you been in NYC or do you just believe the "cesspool" rhetoric on non-news media like FOX? NYC has never been cleaner and the crime rate is at a 25 year low. Crime in NYC is half what it was when Giuliani left office. I go there all the time. My wife and I joke that $10 goes to the first one to spot a homeless person, rat or tent camp. No one wins. If NYC was so bad why would FOX make it their headquarters? All of the Murdochs have expensive homes there. Big Republican donor Ken Griffin recently paid $238M for an apartment, a US record for most expensive home. You sound like Yogi Berra: "Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded!"

NYC townhouse rarely have a garage. When these mansions were built the owners owned separate carriage house nearby. A garage door would disfigure the residence and horses are smelly.
