It’s a great tape…and this is a wonderful example of his favourite grips and likes! Very practical fingerings too

Take forever to learn this..probably better off taking the bits you like and incorporating it .

I'm still amazed nobody created a book with all his /2/5/1 phrases and 1/6/2/5 phrases cause he has a million of them

This doesn't sound like good comping - too busy and no room for the soloist, and most of the voicings are questionable (this is on ROSENWINKEL - the transcriptionist is superb)

Same old saying.. I wonder when people will actually stop saying such b*s and become better at playing their instruments instead. Because statements scratching the surface like that actually mean just one thing; mediocrity. Maybe take the word of GOAT guitarists out there praising this young guy would suffice? Give it a Google search maybe unless you're way above that 😉

You don't have a good ears and not enough knowledge of music, that's why you will never understand how brilliant this is

😂😂😂😂😂 this solo says a lot, theres alot going on here in one minute If you dont understand you dont understand music, you got a lot to learn buddy, go learn music and practice, and comeback to this video in like 100 years, thats what will take you to play like this .

I feel what you say. Technically: yes. But melodic or feel? No, not in my opinion either. He's one of the best out there. But I prefer Max Ostro, as he makes beautiful melodies combined with great technique (and haircut) haha

Love the Joe Pass refrences here and there. The venue looks familiar, If I had guess I'd say Wally's or Small's maybe.
